The Chicago White Sox have reached a new, multiyear partnership agreement with Chicago-based Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution, LLC (GLCCD) and The Coca-Cola Company, launching Coca-Cola products, including soft drinks, water and teas, as the new official soft drink of the White Sox.
Coca-Cola will receive prominent brand exposure and product placement at concession stands throughout U.S. Cellular Field-providing game spectators with refreshing soft drinks, water and tea.  The Company also will sponsor a new interactive digital feature that allows fans to share photos from each game on the new video boards at the ballpark. Additionally, the partnership features a number of promotional dates each season, including a fireworks night and a promotional giveaway during the 2016 baseball season.
"Coca-Cola is an iconic brand with community initiatives, experiential marketing efforts and long-standing traditions that make it a natural fit as a White Sox partner," said Brooks Boyer, White Sox senior vice president of sales and marketing. "We are thrilled to add a brand with such established sports experience to U.S. Cellular Field and expand the fan experience beyond the ballpark, as our brands activate together at retail locations throughout the Chicagoland area."
"This is a dream come true for a locally-owned and run, Chicago company. The match-up of the legendary Chicago White Sox and the iconic brand Coca-Cola is a win that we all hope contributes to bringing another Championship back to Chicago," said Andrew Reyes, General Manager, Chicago unit, Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution.
This agreement names Coca-Cola as the presenting sponsor for the White Sox fan-favorite Family Sundays, which cover all 13 Sunday home games during the 2016 season. This promotion offers tickets as low as $5 in the Upper Level and $15 in the Lower Level with $10 parking. Family Sundays at the ballpark will offer entertainment like running the bases postgame (weather permitting), face painters, balloonists, a caricature artist and magnet art.
The Coca-Cola Company has been refreshing people for more than 129 years, now offering more than 500 sparkling and still brands globally. Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution is a local company with deep Chicago roots and a long history of serving the community. Fans can enjoy all of their favorite Coca-Cola products at the ballpark starting with the White Sox home opener on April 8 vs. the Cleveland Indians.
