The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled L/RHP Pat Venditte from Buffalo of the International League (AAA). To make room on the roster RHP Arnold Leon has been designated for assignment.
 
Venditte, 30, has appeared in 26 Major League games with Oakland, all last season, posting a 4.40 ERA. The product of Creighton University is the Major League's lone ambidextrous pitcher.
