Angels host Mariners and Royals in six-game homestand

Below is a look at the notable events and giveaways taking place at Angel Stadium during the homestand.

The Angels return to the Big A for a six-game homestand beginning Friday at 7:05 p.m. vs. the Seattle Mariners (Friday, April 22 - Sunday, April 24). The homestand concludes on Wednesday, April 27 after a three-game set against the defending World Champions Kansas City Royals (Monday, April 25 - Wednesday, April 27). Below is a look at the notable events and giveaways taking place at Angel Stadium during the homestand:
 
 
 
PROMOTIONS
 
·         Kids Rock Free, a children's cover band, will be performing in the Music Garden before Friday's game in the second Live Music in the Garden Night.
·         Prior to the game on Friday, the Angels will honor the late Jackie Robinson. A short video will be displayed on the boards in outfield highlighting his impact on and off the field.
·         Friday is also Girls Softball Day. Local softball players will participate in various pregame activities including taking drills in right field, being honorary bat kid, throwing out first pitch, and calling the ceremonial 'play ball.'
·         UCI Night will take place Saturday at Angel Stadium. Approximately 4,000 people will be in attendance for the event with a select number of faculty members taking the field for a pregame ceremony. Fans who purchased the ticket package receive a special UCI-themed Angels hat.
·         Fans are invited to stay after the conclusion of Saturday's game and enjoy the third installment of Saturday Night Fireworks, presented by Wells Fargo, with a splendid fireworks display over the right field area. It will also be '70s theme night with fans encouraged to bring their most far out outfits.
·         The second Little League Day at the Big A will take place on Sunday. Over 8,000 Little Leaguers will walk the warning track prior to the game and partake in pregame activities.
·         The first Wells Fargo Hero Ceremony will occur before Monday's game where a local community military veteran will be honored.
·         On Tuesday, the on-field pregame CIF Ceremony will recognize one hundred student-athletes from fifty high schools in the area for their academic leadership.
 
 
 
GIVEAWAYS (while supplies last)
 
·         Upon entrance to the game on Friday, fans will be given an Angels double logo baseball cap, presented by AAA.
·         Fans will receive a MLB Network tote bag after entering Angel Stadium on Tuesday.
