Prior to tonight's game vs. Boston, the Chicago White Sox announced the following four roster moves:
Johnson, 26, is scheduled to start tonight's series finale vs. the Red Sox. He was with the White Sox from April 19-24 but did not pitch. Johnson is 1-1 with a 3.74 ERA (9 ER/21.2 IP) and 16 strikeouts in four starts with Charlotte this season. He went 3-1 with a 3.34 ERA (13 ER/35.0 IP) and 30 strikeouts in six starts with the White Sox in 2015.
Kahnle, 26, was on Chicago's 25-man roster from April 29-May 1 and worked 1.0 scoreless IP in his only appearance on April 29 at the Orioles. He has made nine appearances with Charlotte this season, going 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA (3 ER/11.0 IP), one save and 13 strikeouts.
Petricka, 27, has appeared in nine games this season, going 0-0 with a 4.50 ERA (4 ER/8.0 IP), one hold and seven strikeouts. He last pitched on May 1 at Baltimore, allowing one hit over 0.1 IP.
Danks, 31, went 0-4 with a 7.25 ERA (18 ER/22.1 IP) and 16 strikeouts in four starts with Chicago this season, his 10th with the organization. He ranks among the White Sox all-time franchise leaders in pickoffs (4th, 30), strikeouts (6th, 1,102), quality starts (T10th, 136), starts (11th, 247) and IP (16th, 1,503.1). Danks was acquired from Texas on December 23, 2006 as part of a five-player trade.
Following the moves, the White Sox 40-man roster decreases to 38.
