Tickets are on sale now for Strikeout Cancer Night at Busch Stadium on Wednesday, May 18, vs. the Colorado Rockies. The St. Louis Cardinals are giving fans an opportunity to support the fight against cancer by offering select Loge or Pavilion tickets for just $15 at cardinals.com/kcancer. For each Strikeout Cancer ticket sold, $5 will go directly to the Jason Motte Foundation to help fight cancer.
Strikeout Cancer Night at the ballpark will be held in conjunction with former Cardinals closer Jason Motte's Third Annual Cornhole Challenge set to take place at Fox Sports Midwest Live within Ballpark Village on Monday, May 16. Current Rockies relief pitcher Jason Motte and Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong, along with the help of their teammates, will host the fun-filled event, all while raising money for the Jason Motte Foundation and Cardinals Care. Fans will have the chance to see and interact with their favorite Cardinals and Rockies players, and become teammates in the fight against cancer.
The event is a continuation of an idea Jason had to take a fun, backyard game and match it up with the passionate St. Louis baseball fan base. Thanks to the amazing support of the St. Louis community the past two years, this event has raised over $225,000 for cancer research and those affected by cancer.
