The Oakland A's recalled right-handed pitcher Andrew Triggs from Triple-A Nashville for Game 2 of today's split doubleheader, the club announced today.
This will be Triggs' third stint with the A's this season. He made his Major League debut with the A's on April 25 at Detroit, tossing a scoreless inning with one strikeout before being optioned to Nashville on April 27. He was recalled again on April 29 but did not appear in a game before being optioned back to Nashville the next day.
