The Los Angeles Dodgers today optioned right-handed reliever Casey Fien, who was claimed on Saturday from Minnesota, to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today optioned right-handed reliever Casey Fien, who was claimed on Saturday from Minnesota, to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Fien had appeared in 14 games for the Twins this season, striking out 12 and walking three in 13.2 innings pitched. The California native has appeared in 208 games for the Twins over the past three seasons, including 73 games apiece in both 2013 (7th, AL) and 2014 (5th, AL). His best season was 2013, when he went 5-1 with a 3.92 ERA and 1.02 WHIP while striking out 73 and walking just 12. Fien briefly appeared with the Detroit Tigers in 2009 and 2010, before becoming a mainstay in the Minnesota bullpen from 2012-16. He was originally selected by the Tigers in the 20th round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft out of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
