Rangers Homestand Highlights from May 23-29

The Texas Rangers will host the Los Angeles Angels and Pittsburgh Pirates on the team's upcoming six-game homestand which runs from May 23-29.

The Texas Rangers will host the Los Angeles Angels and Pittsburgh Pirates on the team's upcoming six-game homestand which runs from May 23-29.
The Angels make their second of three visits in 2016 with 7:05 p.m. games on Monday and Tuesday, May 23-24 and a 1:05 p.m. matinee on Wednesday, May 25. Wednesday is Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Day.
The Rangers will play their first interleague series of 2016 when the Pirates come to Globe Life Park for games on Friday, May 27 (7:05 p.m.), Saturday, May 28 (6:15 p.m.), and Sunday, May 29 (2:05 p.m.). It will mark the first time that Rangers manager Jeff Banister will face his former team as well as the first time Texas and Pittsburgh have met since 2013.
The series opener will be Father/Daughter night and the post-game fireworks show will be set to music with that theme. It will also be University of North Texas night. On Saturday, the first 15,000 fans 14 years of age and older entering the park will receive a PowerAde Rangers Beach Towel. May 28 is also Korean Heritage Night sponsored by LG OLED TV with pre-game ceremonies including a Tae Kwon Do performance.
The homestand concludes on Sunday afternoon, when the first 15,000 fans entering Globe Life Park receive a Nitto Blue Dot Bobblehead, the first of three in the series of Dot Bobblehead giveaways in 2016. It is also Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday with $1.00 ice cream products on sale for youngsters 13 years of age and under.
