KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Royals announced Monday that they have placed outfielder Alex Gordon on the 15-day disabled list with a scaphoid fracture in his right wrist. To take Gordon's spot on the roster, the Royals have recalled infielder Cheslor Cuthbert from Omaha (AAA). Cuthbert (#19) will be in uniform for tonight's game against the Minnesota Twins.
