White Sox recall J.B. Shuck from Triple-A Charlotte; option Tommy Kahnle

Prior to today's series opener at the New York Mets, the Chicago White Sox recalled outfielder J.B. Shuck from Triple-A Charlotte and optioned right-handed pitcher Tommy Kahnle to Charlotte.
Shuck, 28, is hitting .299 (46-154) with nine doubles, two triples, two home runs, 17 RBIs, 11 walks and four stolen bases over 37 games with Charlotte this season. He is 17-54 (.315) with four RBIs vs. left-handers. Shuck opened the season with the White Sox, going 0-9 over four games before being optioned on April 18.
Kahnle, 26, has gone 0-1 with a 2.70 ERA (1 ER/3.1 IP) in four appearances over three stints with Chicago this season. He is 1-0 with a 2.76 ERA (5 ER/16.1 IP), two saves, 18 strikeouts and a .158 opponents average (9-57) over 13 relief appearances with the Knights this season.
