Padres Foundation set to launch 50/50 raffle

The San Diego Padres and the Padres Foundation today announced the launch of an in-ballpark 50/50 raffle. New to California, the 50/50 raffles allow fans to purchase raffle tickets with the chance to win 50 percent of the day's jackpot. The amount of the jackpot varies and is representative of the sum of the value of the raffle tickets sold each game. One lucky fan will take home 50 percent of the jackpot each game and the remaining 50 percent will benefit initiatives and programs supporting youth, military and first responder organizations in the greater San Diego and Baja California communities.

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Padres and the Padres Foundation today announced the launch of an in-ballpark 50/50 raffle. New to California, the 50/50 raffles allow fans to purchase raffle tickets with the chance to win 50 percent of the day's jackpot. The amount of the jackpot varies and is representative of the sum of the value of the raffle tickets sold each game. One lucky fan will take home 50 percent of the jackpot each game and the remaining 50 percent will benefit initiatives and programs supporting youth, military and first responder organizations in the greater San Diego and Baja California communities.
The Padres Foundation will host the 50/50 raffle at every Padres home game beginning Wednesday, June 1. The digital raffle is made possible by Bump 50:50 technology.
50/50 raffle tickets will be sold by Padres Foundation representatives throughout Petco Park at various locations including the Gaslamp Gate, sections F & G on the field level concourse, section 208 on the Toyota Terrace level and in section 303 in the upper deck. Fans may also purchase raffle tickets from roaming raffle sales representatives wearing yellow aprons. Multiple price points are available including three for $5, 10 for $10 and 40 for $20 with cash or credit card as the accepted forms of payment. Fans 18 years of age and older are eligible to purchase raffle tickets. All raffle ticket sales are final and non-transferrable.
Raffle ticket sales begin when gates open and end at the conclusion of the sixth inning, with the winning ticket being drawn during the 7th inning and announced in-ballpark during the 8th inning. Those with a winning raffle ticket may redeem their ticket by visiting Guest Services in section 108 during the game, or visiting the Petco Park ticket office during normal business hours. Winners must be able to produce the physical winning ticket. All winners will have thirty days from the conclusion of the 2016 Padres season to present a winning ticket and claim their prize.
