Mets third baseman David Wright has been placed on the Disabled List retroactive to May 30 with a herniated disk in his neck. The injury will require six-to-eight weeks of rest from baseball activities during which David will undergo appropriate physiotherapy to protect the area. After the rest period, David will resume baseball activity.
The Mets have recalled infielder Matt Reynolds who will be in uniform for tonight's game in Miami.
