Semi-Finals for Phillies Carpenter Cup on Tuesday at Citizens Bank Park

Final four high school all-star teams - Philadelphia Catholic, Suburban One National/Bicentennial, Suburban One American/Continental & Delaware County - to compete with hopes of advancing to championship game

The top four local high school all-star baseball teams from the tristate area will compete in the semi-final games (9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) of the Phillies Baseball Carpenter Cup powered by ENGIE on Tuesday, June 21 at Citizens Bank Park. The winning teams will advance to the championship game, which will be played on Friday, June 24. Note: Prior games of the tournament were played at the Phillies MLB Urban Youth Academy Fields at FDR Park.
For many participants, it will be the first time playing ball on a major league field - giving them the perfect setting to compete in front of major league and college scouts, who will be watching the final games.
The Phillies Carpenter Cup Classic powered by ENGIE is recognized nationally as one of the finest baseball tournaments for high school students and has been a catalyst for many players to receive scholarships and admission to some of the country's finest universities. Additionally, many Carpenter Cup Classic participants have gone on to big league careers including current Phillie Brett Olberholtzer, Phillies broadcaster Ben Davis, Mike Trout, Mike Piazza, Mike Koplove, David Miller and Bobby Higginson.
Games are open to the public. Gates open one hour before game time.
