Colorado Rockies recall right-handed pitcher Jordan Lyles

The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Jordan Lyles from Triple-A Albuquerque. Additionally, right-handed pitcher Scott Oberg was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque after yesterday's game.

The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have recalled right-handed pitcher Jordan Lyles from Triple-A Albuquerque. Additionally, right-handed pitcher Scott Oberg was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque after yesterday's game.
Lyles, 25, will be making his third stint with the Rockies this season … is 1-2 with a 8.55 ERA (20.0 IP, 19 ER), 14 walks and 12 strikeouts in five appearances, all starts … began the season on the Rockies Opening Day roster before being optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque April 25 … was recalled May 20 and made one start at Pittsburgh on May 23 before being optioned to Triple-A May 24 … in eight starts with Albuquerque, is 4-2 with a 5.44 ERA (44.2 IP, 27 ER), 18 walks and 29 strikeouts … for his Major League career, Lyles is 24-40 with a 5.22 ERA (572.2 IP, 332 ER) in 109 games, 102 starts, with Houston (2011-13) and Colorado (2014-16) … the Rockies acquired Lyles and outfielder Brandon Barnes from the Houston Astros on Dec. 3, 2013 in exchange for outfielder Dexter Fowler and a player to be named later.
Oberg, 26, was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque Sunday and pitched two scoreless innings in Sunday's game at Miami … it was his second stint on the Rockies roster … also spent time on the active roster April 25-May 20 … overall on the season, is 0-0 with a 4.05 ERA (13.1 IP, 6 ER), five walks and eight strikeouts in nine appearances with the Rockies … in 16 games with Albuquerque, has recorded five saves in six opportunities with a 2.89 ERA (18.2 IP, 6 ER), seven walks and 21 strikeouts … made 64 appearances in his rookie season with the Rockies in 2015, going 3-4 with one save and 5.09 ERA (58.1 IP, 33 ER) … he was drafted by the Rockies in the 15th round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Connecticut. 
The Rockies currently have a full 40-man roster.
