The Chicago White Sox have optioned outfielder J.B. Shuck to Class AAA Charlotte. 
Shuck, 29, is batting .218 (37-170) with three home runs, 13 RBI and 16 runs scored in 53 games over two stints with the White Sox this season. He has started 44 of the last 54 games since being recalled from Charlotte on May 30, including 31 of the last 33.
Shuck hit .299 (46-154) with two homers, 17 RBI and 20 runs scored over 37 games in his first stint with Charlotte from April 19-May 29. 
The Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow night's series opener at Detroit.
