Seattle Mariners celebrate African American Heritage Day on August 7

A special online-only ticket offer is available at Mariners.com/AfricanAmerican. Each ticket purchased through the offer comes with a special "42" cap, in tribute to Jackie Robinson, who became the first African American to play in the Major Leagues in the modern era when the Brooklyn Dodgers started him at first base on April 15, 1947.

Tickets are $25 for View Level and $46 for Main Level seats, with $5 from each ticket sold benefitting the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, which hasinvested more than $6 million in research, fellowships and symposiums aimed at improving therapies and finding a cure for the disorder that occurs in 1 in every 15,000 births.
