The Pittsburgh Pirates today recalled right-handed pitcher Ryan Vogelsong from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis and reinstated him from the 60-day disabled list. Vogelsong will start tonight's game in Atlanta.
To make room for Vogelsong on the 25-man active roster, infielder Max Moroff has been optioned to Triple-A. To clear a space for Vogelsong on the 40-man roster, right-handed pitcher Wilfredo Boscan has been unconditionally released.
