Jays Care Foundation's Young Professionals Roster presents Extra Innings: Dugout Talks & Ballpark Brews -- an exclusive event with unique access to Rogers Centre, featuring a sports and business focused panel discussion and an after-party - in support of Jays Care Foundation's Rookie League program, taking place on August 18th, 2016.
Hosted by Sportsnet's Hazel Mae, speakers on the panel include Arden Zwelling, Writer for Sportsnet Magazine, Rory Capern Twitter Canada Managing Director, Kevin Rempel, Paralympian, Entrepreneur, Author, and Jesse Barfield, Toronto Blue Jays alumnus.
Guests in attendance will be treated to Toronto Blue Jays-themed activations, open bar, music, games, prizes including Toronto Blue Jays experiences and special guests.
Each $95 ticket purchased sends one child living in a Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) neighbourhood to a five-day Rookie League Camp. Jays Care Foundation's Rookie League program, now in its 28th season, uses baseball to teach important life skills to over 1,200 children in Toronto and 8,000 children nation-wide. The Young Professionals Roster is immensely proud to support this national program for the second year in a row.
All proceeds from this event support Jays Care Young Professionals' goal of raising $150,000 for Rookie League programming, ensuring children across Canada can participate in best-in-class baseball for development programming designed to shrink the opportunity gap.
