Marlins and Kiwanis of Little Havana Back to School distribution returns

For the sixth consecutive year, the Marlins Foundation has donated $20,000 to fund the Kiwanis of Little Havana/Marlins Foundation Back to School distribution, a week-long distribution from Monday, August 22, to Friday, August 26. The yearly Back to School Caravan aims to excite and prepare students for the upcoming school year by providing school supplies to thousands of children. At each distribution site, every student will receive a backpack containing pencils, notebooks, folders, safety scissors, a glue stick, crayons, a ruler, markers, composition books, and filler paper.

This year's event kicks off with a special distribution at Marlins Park at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17. Below is the Back to School Caravan schedule and location of schools where the Marlins Foundation, along with the Kiwanis of Little Havana, will greet students and distribute supplies:
