Tigers Host Angels, White Sox Beginning August 26 at Comerica Park

DETROIT - The Tigers return to Comerica Park for a six-game homestand beginning Friday, August 26 going through Wednesday, August 31 as they host the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim August 26-28 and the Chicago White Sox August 29-31 for three games each.

DETROIT - The Tigers return to Comerica Park for a six-game homestand beginning Friday, August 26 going through Wednesday, August 31 as they host the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim August 26-28 and the Chicago White Sox August 29-31 for three games each. The Tigers first two games against the Angels, Friday, August 26 and Saturday, August 27 are slated for 7:10 p.m. with Sunday's series finale scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. The Tigers close out the homestand with a three-game series against the White Sox, Monday, August 29 through Wednesday, August 31. Monday and Tuesday's games against the White Sox are scheduled for 7:10 p.m. and the series finale on Wednesday, August 31 to start at 1:10 p.m.

Miller Lite Friday Night Party Packages come with a voucher redeemable for a beverage at the Miller Lite Jungle, the "Grab n Go" located behind section 146, or the Chevrolet Pavilion Patio areas. This ticket package is not eligible for print at home or digital delivery. *Voucher may also be redeemed for a non-alcoholic alternative (soda or water).  
·   Chevrolet Fun Zone Ticket Package: This ticket package includes an upper baseline box ticket with a voucher for a Chevrolet branded item. Vouchers can be redeemed at the ticket sales kiosk outside of section 332. This offer is valid for every Tuesday home game including August 30 against the Chicago White Sox.

·   Michigan State University Night: The Detroit Tigers along with FOX Sports Detroit and AMP Radio will host the fourth installment of their University Days series at Comerica Park. All fans who purchased the Michigan State University ticket package will receive a co-branded Detroit Tigers and Michigan State University baseball hat and a $5 donation will be made to the MSU General Scholarship fund. ·   Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Raffle: The Detroit Tigers Foundation 50/50 Charity Raffle continues at Comerica Park this season at all Friday and Saturday home games. The partner charity for this weekend's 50/50 raffle is Detroit PAL. Tickets will be sold on a digital platform and are three for $5, 10 for $10 and 40 for $20. The winner will be announced on the Comerica Park scoreboard before the end of the game. The 50/50 Charity Raffle program has raised more than $1.3 million for charity.
·   Sanchez's Little Smiles: Anibal Sanchez and his wife, Ana, along with the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, continue the program Sanchez's Little Smiles this season. During Friday's game, Sanchez's Little Smiles will host 19 guests from Variety -The Children's Charity to dine and watch the game from the Sanchez family suite. Guests will also receive a Sanchez's Little Smiles t-shirt and autographed photo signed by Anibal Sanchez. The Sanchez's Little Smiles program provides the opportunity to escape daily hardships and enjoy an evening while watching Tigers baseball at Comerica Park. The participating guests are selected in partnership with local charitable organizations focused on serving the needs of families faced with the challenges of caring for children with health concerns and other adversities. 
·   The ceremonial first pitches will be thrown by Michigan State University President, Lou Anna Simon, representing Michigan State University Night and U.S. Swimmer and 2016 Olympic Gold and Silver Medalist and Michigan native, Allison Schmitt. 
·   The national anthem will be performed by Michigan State student Nick Kreider.
·   Following the conclusion of Friday's game, fans can enjoy Pepsi Close for Cash and postgame fireworks, presented by Pepsi, WXYZ Channel 7, WYCD and hosted by Frank Williams of WYCD (weather permitting).

·   Ian Kinsler Autograph Signing: Prior to Saturday's game, Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler will sign autographs at 1:00 p.m. in The D Shop. Tickets are available online at tigers.com/autographs prior to the signing or in The D Shop the day of the signing. All signatures will be authenticated by Major League Baseball. ·   The District Detroit Night: Join the Detroit Tigers in celebrating The District Detroit Night. Fans can learn more about The District Detroit and participate in The District Detroit promotions and contests during a pregame red carpet experience. The first 10,000 fans will receive a co-branded Detroit Tigers and The District Detroit hat, sponsored by The District Detroit.
·   Outdoorsman Ticket Package: This ticket package includes: an upper box Infield, or upper reserved, or lower baseline box ticket, an exclusive Detroit Tigers fishing lure and $5 donation to The Michigan Department of Natural Resources. These Veterans sustained injuries or illness in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom or in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. The Veterans along with their families cheer on the Tigers from the comfort of Verlander's personal luxury suite. After serving our country, the special day provides American veterans the opportunity to enjoy a Tigers game with their family. Veterans from the Detroit Veterans Affairs Medical Center will share luxury suite tickets and parking passes in the Tigers Parking Garage. ·   Gloves For Kids Equipment Collection Day at Comerica Park: The Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, the Baseball Tomorrow Fund and Major League Baseball are hosting Equipment Collection Day at Comerica Park. Fans are encouraged to support local youth baseball and softball leagues throughout Michigan by donating new or gently used or new baseball or softball equipment at Comerica Park at Gate A located on Witherell Street. All equipment donations will benefit youth baseball and softball leagues in Michigan and can be made at the Gate A entrance to Comerica Park located on Witherell Street. ·   All Sunday home games are Chevy Youth Baseball Sunday Kids Days at Comerica Park. ·   Sanchez's Little Smiles: Anibal Sanchez and his wife, Ana, along with the Detroit Tigers Foundation, an affiliate of Ilitch Charities, continue the program Sanchez's Little Smiles this season. During Friday's game, Sanchez's Little Smiles will host 19 guests from the Children's Hospital of Michigan to dine and watch the game from the Sanchez family suite. Guests will also receive a Sanchez's Little Smiles t-shirt and autographed photo signed by Anibal Sanchez. The Sanchez's Little Smiles program provides the opportunity to escape daily hardships and enjoy an evening while watching Tigers baseball at Comerica Park.
