Giveaways
In conjunction with Halfway to St. Patrick's Day, the first 20,000 fans ages 21 and over to enter the ballpark will received a White Sox Green cap, presented by Miller Lite, on Friday, September 9.
 
The first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark on Saturday, September 10, will receive a White Sox Travel Mug.
 
September 15 marks the return of Free T-Shirt Thursday with a Jose Abreu caricature T-shirt, presented by the Village of Bedford Park, for the first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark.
 
Special Guests
Actor Brandon "Bug" Hall will throw a ceremonial first pitch on Monday, September 5. Hall is best known for his role as Alfalfa in the 1994 comedy, "The Little Rascals." Most recently, he played Arthur Davidson in "Harley & the Davidson's," a Discovery Network TV mini-series based on a true story.
 
Four-time World Strongest Man Champion Brian Shaw will throw a ceremonial first pitch on Saturday, September 10. Shaw is an American professional strongman competitor and the only American athlete to win World's Strongest Man, America's Strongest Man and the Arnold Strongman competitions.
 
Chicago native and Purple Heart recipient Josh Misiewicz will throw a ceremonial first pitch on Sunday, September 11, as part of the National Day of Remembrance. Misiewicz joined the United States Marine Corps in 2010. In 2011, he lost both legs after stepping on an improvised explosive device while on patrol in Afghanistan. Misiewicz is a member of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team and a gold medalist from the 2015 International Paralympic Committee Ice Sled Hockey World Championships.
 
Singer/songwriter Jon McLaughlin will perform a pregame Rock the Sox performance on Thursday, September 15. McLaughlin earned a performance in the Oscar-nominated Disney film "Enchanted" and performed live at the 80th Academy Awards. He has collaborated with Bareilles and Demi Lovato and shared the stage with an array of artists, including Adele, Bon Jovi, Kelly Clarkson and One Republic. His songs also have been featured in hit television shows, "Madam Secretary," "Chicago Fire" and "So You Think You Can Dance" as well as in major Hollywood films "Bridge to Terabithia" and "Georgia Rule."
 
Ceremonies
The Chicago White Sox will honor Jose Abreu as the Roberto Clemente Award nominee and SEAT 21 honoree Regina Smola in a pregame ceremony on Wednesday, September 7. The Roberto Clemente Award recognizes the player who best represents the game of baseball through sportsmanship, community involvement and positive contributions, both on and off the field. The award was created in 1971 as the Commissioner's Award, and in 1973, was renamed in honor of Roberto Clemente - the Hall of Famer, 15-time All-Star and great humanitarian who died on December 31, 1972, during a mission to assist earthquake victims in Nicaragua. New this year, the league-wide SEAT 21 initiative honors a local community member who embodies Clemente's humanitarian spirit. Smola will enjoy the game with guests from the designated SEAT 21 at U.S. Cellular Field.
 
The White Sox will observe the National Day of Remembrance on Sunday, September 11. The Warrior Watch Riders will participate in a pregame parade, riding the ballpark warning track on their motorcycles with American flags. Members of the U.S. Armed Services, Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department will be recognized on field during a pregame ceremony and take the field to meet White Sox players at their positions.
 
In honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night, the Chicago White Sox will welcome special guests from the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital to participate in pregame ceremonies and events on Monday, September 12.
 
Theme Nights and Promotions
Fans are invited to celebrate Halfway to St. Patrick's Day with a pregame performance by the Trinity Academy Irish dancers and parade led by members of the Bagpipes and Drums Emerald Society on Friday, September 9. Three Men in Kilts, a traditional Irish band from Chicago's South Side, will perform a pregame acoustic set as well as the National Anthem. The Party Shop near Section 159 will feature Halfway to St. Patrick's Day banners, scarves and other party wear. Green beer, Irish Nachos and Supreme Corned Beef Sandwiches will be available for purchase at select concession stands throughout the ballpark. Coca-Cola Family Sunday offers tickets as low as $5 in the Upper Level and $15 in the Lower Level with $10 parking on Sunday, September 11. This weekend's entertainment includes children's running the bases postgame (weather permitting), face painters, balloonists and a caricature artist. Kids ages 10 and under eat free off the kids menu at ChiSox Bar & Grill on Family Sundays. Additionally, the first 200 children's tickets purchased through this special ticket offer are invited to an exclusive pregame children's autograph session for children ages five to 13 at 10:30 a.m. These packages include a Lower Box ticket and are available for $25 at whitesox.com/Autographs.
 
Fans and their favorite Fido are invited to help set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for most dogs attending a sporting event. The attempt will be held in conjunction with the annual Bark at the Park event, presented by AvoDerm Natural Pet Foods, Nylabone and PetSmart, on Tuesday, September 13. A GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ adjudicator will be on site to ensure a minimum of 1,000 dogs are in their designated seating area by the top of the third inning. Tickets for Bark at the Park are available for $20, which include one human ticket and one dog ticket. Advance purchase of Bark at the Park tickets is required by Tuesday, September 6. In celebration of Bulls Night, in-park entertainment on Wednesday, September 14, will feature an array of guests from the Chicago Bulls - from greats Toni Kukoc and Bob Love to Benny the Bull and the Luvabulls. The Bulls' championship trophies will be on display in the Trophy Zone near Section 157. Specially priced tickets are available at whitesox.com/ChicagoBulls. Fans who purchase tickets through this link will have the opportunity to attend White Sox batting practice and receive a voucher for a special edition Scottie Pippen bobblehead (first 1,400 tickets purchased through this link only).
