D-backs activate Rubby De La Rosa from 60-day disabled list

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) activated RHP Rubby De La Rosa (@RubbyDelarosa) from the 60-day disabled list (right elbow inflammation), and transferred INF Nick Ahmed (right hip impingement) to the 60-day disabled list, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.
De La Rosa, 27, will make the start for the D-backs tonight vs. Giants. In 11 games (8 starts) for Arizona this season, he has gone 4-5 with a 4.15 ERA (22 ER in 47.2 IP) with 49 strikeouts against 15 walks.
In 3 rehab starts between the Rookie AZL D-backs and Single-A Visalia, De La Rosa posted a 5.14 ERA (4 ER in 7.0 IP) with 9 strikeouts against 2 walks.
Ahmed, 26, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on July 23 and underwent arthroscopic surgery on his hip on Aug. 26. In 90 games for the D-backs this season, he hit .218 (62-for-284) with 4 homers and 20 RBI.
