Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today that the club has recalled infielder Mike Freeman, right-handed pitcher Cody Martin and infielder Dan Vogelbach from AAA Tacoma.
The roster moves put the Mariners Major League active roster at 35 players.
Freeman (#6), Martin (#57) and Vogelbach (#20) will be in uniform and available for tonight's (7:05 pm PT) game at the Angels. 
Freeman, 29, is batting .333 (2x6) with 1 RBI in 2 games over two stints with Seattle this season. Since being optioned to AAA Tacoma on Aug. 27, Freeman hit .333 (12x36) with 5 runs, 2 doubles, 2 home runs and 8 RBI in 9 games. In 26 games with the Rainiers this season, Freeman hit .305 (32x105) with 6 doubles, 3 home runs and 15 RBI. He made his Mariners debut on Aug. 7 vs. Los Angeles - AL and collected his first Major League hit and first RBI, going 2-for-3 with 1 RBI. He was claimed off waivers from Arizona on Aug. 1. Prior to his acquisition, he hit .317 (108x341) with 56 runs, 17 doubles, 6 triples, 1 home run, 24 RBI, 38 walks, 11 stolen bases, a .387 on-base percentage and a .411 slugging percentage in 88 games with AAA Reno this season. In parts of 7 minor league seasons with Arizona (2010-16) and Seattle, he is batting .290 (785x2705) with 133 doubles, 29 triples, 18 home runs and 270 RBI in 742 career games. 
Martin, 26, is 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA (10 ER, 20.0 IP) with 12 strikeouts in 7 appearances, including 2 starts, in three stints with Seattle this season. After being optioned to AAA Tacoma on Aug. 23, Martin went 1-0 with a 0.79 ERA (1 ER, 11.1 IP) with 15 strikeouts and 3 walks in 2 starts with the Rainiers. In 25 games (20 starts) with AAA Tacoma this season, he was 10-7 with a 3.62 ERA (46 ER, 114.1 IP) with 114 strikeouts and 33 walks. Among Pacific Coast League leaders, Martin ranked T12th in wins (10) and T13th in strikeouts (114). Seattle originally claimed Martin off waivers from Oakland on Oct. 29, 2015.
Vogelbach, 24, will be making his Major League debut with his first appearance. In 44 games with AAA Tacoma after being acquired from Chicago - NL on July 20, Vogelbach hit .240 (37x154) with 26 runs, 7 doubles, 7 home runs, 32 RBI, 42 walks, a .404 on-base percentage and a .422 slugging percentage. Prior to the trade, the native of Orlando, Florida, hit .318 (97x305) with 53 runs scored, 18 doubles, 2 triples, 16 home runs, 64 RBI and 55 walks in 89 games with AAA Iowa this season. Overall this season, Vogelbach reached base safely in 121 of 133 games, posting a .417 on-base percentage. The 6-0, 250-pound left-handed first baseman was named to the 2016 Triple-A All-Star team and finished the season among the Pacific Coast League leaders in several offensive categories. Vogelbach led the league in walks (97) while also ranking 2nd in on-base percentage (.417), 3rd in RBI (96), 4th in OPS (.923), 5th in total bases (232), T6th in home runs (23) and 8th in runs (79). He recorded his 4th minor league season with at least 15 home runs, while setting career-highs in runs, home runs, RBI, walks and on-base percentage.
Vogelbach was originally selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 2nd round of the 2011 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, FL. In parts of six minor league seasons with the Cubs (2011-16) and Mariners, Vogelbach hit .286 (560x1958) with 306 runs scored, 118 doubles, 7 triples, 83 home runs, 355 RBI and 336 walks in 560 career games. He was added to the Cubs 40-man roster on November 20, 2015 after his sixth professional season. Vogelbach was a selected to the 2012 Topps/Minor League Base Short-Season All-Star Team, was a member of the 2013 Midwest League All-Star, a 2015 Southern League All-Star and represented the United States in the 2015 Pan American Games in Ajax, Ontario.
