The Orioles will open an 11-game homestand tomorrow when they host the Tampa Bay Rays at 7:05 p.m. ET. During the homestand, the Orioles will distribute five unique giveaway items, including Orioles High Socks, a Vintage Orioles Bobble Boy or Bobble Girl, a HYUN SOO KIM T-shirt, an Orioles Hooded Sweatshirt, and a Maryland Flag Orioles Cap presented by DAP. Additionally, the Orioles will host nearly 1,700 children as part of the OriolesREACH Gameday Experience Program and celebrate Fan Appreciation Weekend with several unique prizes and opportunities for fans at Oriole Park.
Fan Appreciation Weekend will begin on Friday, September 23, and continue through Sunday, September 25, when the Orioles host the Arizona Diamondbacks for the final three-game series of the 2016 regular season. The weekend will feature exclusive giveaways, Fireworks Night presented by Johns Hopkins Advantage MD, and other unique opportunities for fans to have unforgettable experiences at Oriole Park. BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HEROES PROGRAM
This season, the Orioles launched the Birdland Community Heroes Program to recognize community heroes who have inspired others through their spirited commitment to extend a hand in charity, service, hope, and harmony. This recognition honors the heroism of members of our extended Orioles community from all walks of life, occupations, and diverse backgrounds living in our region, our country, and abroad, who have distinguished themselves by selflessly working or volunteering in fields that care for, serve, teach, protect, and improve the lives of others, around the corner or around the globe, who are most in need.

ORIOLES PARTNER WITH LUNGEVITY FOUNDATION
The Orioles have again teamed up with the LUNGevity Foundation, an organization committed to the fight against lung cancer, in memory of Orioles' late Public Relations Director MONICA BARLOW, who bravely battled the disease before passing away in early 2014. In partnership with the LUNGevity Foundation, the Orioles will invite DICK GAMPER of Baltimore to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the 7:05 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. Gamper was chosen in honor of his late wife, MARIA, who served on LUNGevity's Breathe Deep Baltimore Committee before passing away from lung cancer in March. Maria Gamper worked tirelessly raising funds and awareness for lung cancer research. Today, Dick Gamper and his children, RICHARD, CHARLES, CATHERINE, and their families, continue to promote lung cancer research, awareness, and support in her honor.
Additionally, the Orioles have invited the LUNGevity Foundation to hold a silent auction on the lower concourse by Gate E with all proceeds benefiting the fight against lung cancer. Fans can bid on Orioles memorabilia from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Those interested in learning more about the LUNGevity Foundation are encouraged to visit the LUNGevity Foundation at the OriolesREACH Community Booth by Gate D in the lower course. The Orioles have raised nearly $430,000 for LUNGevity Foundation since the partnership began in 2012.
On Saturday, October 22, the Orioles will host LUNGevity Foundation's Breathe Deep Baltimore, a 5K walk that will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude on the field at Oriole Park. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., and participants will receive a T-shirt and refreshments. Registration fees are $25 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, and $10 for youth. There is no race fee for lung cancer survivors and children four and under. Participants can register at Orioles.com/LUNGevity.
ADAM JONES TO BE PRESENTED WITH THE ORIOLES 2016 ROBERTO CLEMENTE AWARD
The Orioles and Major League Baseball named ADAM JONES the Orioles' 2016 nominee for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award, the most prominent individual player award bestowed by MLB. On September 15, prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Orioles will present Jones with the Roberto Clemente Award during an on-field ceremony. The Roberto Clemente Award is the annual recognition of a player from each MLB club who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field. This year, fans have the opportunity to participate in the process of selecting the winner of the Roberto Clemente Award. Fans can vote for Jones by using the hashtag #VoteAdam on Twitter or commenting on any Orioles or MLB Roberto Clemente Award-related Facebook posts. Voting ends on October 2, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Jones, a former Boys & Girls Club member, teamed up with the Orioles to help to renovate three Boys & Girls Clubs in Baltimore over the past three years including, most recently, the Webster Kendrick Boys & Girls Clubs through a $75,000 donation. Jones annually supports the Jackie Robinson Foundation's scholarship program, giving deserving teens an opportunity to pursue their dreams of attending college. He also serves as an Honorary Chair of the Y of Central Maryland's "Send a Kid to Camp" campaign, a program that raises necessary funds to provide a safe, productive summer for children from struggling families throughout central Maryland.
Roberto Clemente Day was established by Major League Baseball to honor Clemente's legacy and to officially acknowledge local club nominees of the Roberto Clemente Award. The Orioles will celebrate Roberto Clemente Day on Thursday, September 15.
BOB HARDEN NAMED ORIOLES SEAT 21 NOMINEE
To enhance Roberto Clemente Day and celebrate Clemente's enduring legacy in 2016, Major League Baseball worked with all 30 clubs to establish SEAT 21. SEAT 21 will be a designated seat in each ballpark on Roberto Clemente Day dedicated to a local hero who will be recognized in addition to the club Clemente Award nominee. The Orioles have selected longtime Oriole Advocate and Cardboard to Leather volunteer BOB HARDEN for this special honor. Each year, the Oriole Advocates host the Cardboard to Leather drive at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, collecting new and gently-used baseball equipment and donations. Harden began volunteering with the program in 2007 and has distributed baseball equipment to more than 8,000 children around the world. He has also taken four trips to Nicaragua to deliver baseball equipment to disadvantaged youth. Harden will receive tickets to the September 15 game against Tampa Bay and will also be recognized during an in-game ceremony. Over the past two decades, the Oriole Advocates have collected 80 tons of equipment and delivered the items to more than 50,000 children in Afghanistan, Aruba, Belize, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Nicaragua, Serbia, Venezuela, and throughout the United States.
As part of Major League Baseball's celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month this September, the league will unveil a special version of its silhouetted batter logo and expand its Ponle Acento marketing campaign, which celebrates the many ways that Latino players impact the game on the field and in the Latino community. Orioles players will wear T-shirts with the MLB Acento logo during batting practice on Thursday, September 15.

During every Monday and Thursday home game, former Orioles players will sign autographs on Eutaw Street as part of the Orioles Alumni Autograph Series. Orioles outfielder ADAM JONES and Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher CHRIS ARCHER will meet with children from the Boys of Girls Club of Metropolitan Baltimore on Thursday, September 15, at 5:00 p.m. in the Orioles Auxiliary Clubhouse prior to that night's game. Jones, a former Boys & Girls Club member and Orioles Roberto Clemente Award nominee, has helped renovate three Boys & Girls Clubs in Baltimore over the past three years. Archer, the Rays Roberto Clemente Award nominee, has been using his platform to reach disadvantaged youth both in the Tampa Bay area and around the league since making his Major League debut in 2013. Over the past four years Archer has made lasting connections with youth around the country though making repeated visits to RBI Leagues in numerous cities; the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla.; Good Sports, Inc., a nonprofit that helps provide athletic equipment to disadvantaged youth; local recreation centers and after-school programs where he reads with young children; and more. ORIOLES HIGH SOCKS GIVEAWAY
On Friday, September 16, prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Rays, the Orioles will give away Orioles High Socks to the first 20,000 fans ages 15 and older. The socks feature an orange, black, and white argyle pattern.
RBI SCHOLARSHIP WINNER TO SHADOW MASN REPORTER
In August, the Orioles recognized TIMOTHY DASHIELL in an on-field pregame ceremony for being one of two Orioles RBI athletes to win the 2016 MLB RBI Scholarship. Each season, Major League Baseball awards scholarships to twelve RBI student-athletes who demonstrate academic achievement and leadership skills and plan on attending an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, vocational school, or technical school. Dashiell and CHEYENNE DURANT were the first two student-athletes in Orioles RBI history to receive the awards. To further enhance Dashiell's career aspirations of becoming a sports journalist, the Orioles have invited him Oriole Park for a behind-the-scenes experience. Dashiell will shadow MASN beat reporter ROCH KUBATKO during the game on Friday, September 16, and visit the MASN production truck, broadcast booth, and MASNsports.com web studio. Dashiell currently studies mass communications at Towson University, where he is a freshman.
The Orioles also helped Durant in her future career aspirations of becoming a Behavior Analyst with the FBI. In August, the Orioles partnered with FBI Baltimore to provide Durant with the opportunity to tour the FBI Baltimore headquarters with her father. Durant currently studies psychology at Frostburg State University, where she is a freshman.

RIO OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST & MARYLAND-NATIVE KYLE SNYDER TO THROW OUT FIRST PITCH
Prior to Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays, U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist and Maryland-native KYLE SNYDER will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Snyder took home gold in the Men's Freestyle 97 kg Wrestling event in this summer's Olympic Games in Rio, becoming the youngest U.S. Olympic wrestling champion at the age of 21. Snyder grew up in Woodbine, Md., and attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. Snyder will be available to the media on the warning track behind home plate at 6:30 p.m. Photos and video will also be made available via Orioles PR following the first pitch.
ORIOLES MINOR LEAGUE AWARD CEREMONY
On Saturday, September 17, the Orioles will announce the 2016 Minor League Awards during an on-field ceremony prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays. MADDIE BAILLIO FROM BROADWAY'S "HAIRSPRAY LIVE!" TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM
On September 17, MADDIE BAILLIO, star of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, "Hairspray Live!," will sing the national anthem prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Rays. Baillio, an accomplished singer and dancer from League City, Texas, with no professional theater experience, won the role of Tracy Turnblad at an open casting call with nearly 1,000 auditioning actresses. A sophomore at Marymount Manhattan College, she recently starred as Dracula in "Dracula, the Musical" and Winnifred in "Once Upon a Mattress" as part of the York Theatre Company's musical theater training program. Baillio was named 2014 Great American Songbook Youth Ambassador and in 2015 performed with MICHAEL FEINSTEIN to capacity audiences at venues such as the Kennedy Center, the Grand 1894 Opera House, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Birdland Jazz Club.

On Sunday, September 18, nearly 1,000 Boy Scouts and their families from around Maryland will attend the 1:35 p.m. game against the Tampa Bay Rays. As part of Boy Scouts Day, representatives from the Boy Scouts of America will be selected to throw out the ceremonial first pitch, to present the colors during the national anthem, and exchange lineup cards with the umpires and coaches prior to that afternoon's game. Two Boy Scouts will also be selected to watch an inning of the game from the grounds crew seats in right field. Fans interested in learning more about Boy Scouts of America can visit group representatives at the OriolesREACH Community Booth on the lower concourse by Gate D.
ORIOLES MILITARY APPRECIATION PROGRAM
As part of the Orioles Military Appreciation Program presented by GEICO, the Orioles and OriolesREACH donate a catered private suite at each Sunday home game at Oriole Park to servicemen and women. On Sunday, September 18, military members from National Military Family Association will enjoy the game against the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:35 p.m. from a catered suite, have a meet-and-greet with ZACH BRITTON and MATT WIETERS, and receive a player T-shirt. The National Military Family Association is the leading nonprofit dedicated to serving the families who stand behind the uniform by giving away millions in scholarships to military spouses, hosting free camps for children of military families, retreats for families reconnecting after deployment, and healing adventures for the families of the wounded, ill, or injured.

FORT MEADE ALLIANCE FOUNDATION CHECK PRESENTATION
On Monday, September 19, the Orioles will present a check for nearly $14,000 to Fort Meade Alliance representatives during an on-field ceremony prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Boston Red Sox. Fort Meade Alliance President STEVE TILLER, Fort Meade Alliance Foundation President DEON VIERGUTZ, Fort Meade Alliance Foundation Treasurer JAY BALDWIN, and Fort Meade Alliance Foundation General Manager TIM O'FERRALL will be present during the check ceremony. All funds for the Fort Meade Alliance were generated through the Orioles Memorial Day jersey and cap auction in May. Orioles uniformed personnel wore special jerseys and caps featuring a new marine "woodland" camouflage pattern and design licensed by the United States Marine Corps. These jerseys and caps were autographed, authenticated, and auctioned to benefit the Fort Meade Alliance Foundation. The Fort Meade Alliance Foundation is a nonprofit organization that manages charitable initiatives designed to support the Fort Meade installation, military personnel and their families, civilians, and the broader Fort Meade Community. The Foundation is now raising the necessary funding for Kuhn Hall on Fort Meade for the service members, their families, and DoD Civilians who support the critical missions on post.
COURTER SIMMONS FROM THE BROADWAY MUSICAL JERSEY BOYS TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM
On September 19, COURTER SIMMONS from the Broadway Musical "Jersey Boys" will sing the national anthem prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Red Sox. Jersey Boys is a Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and will be playing at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore from September 27 to October 2.

The award is presented annually to an Orioles player whose active participation in the community also embraces the Oriole Advocates' mission of promoting and stimulating interest in baseball. The Oriole Advocates will honor outfielder ADAM JONES with the 2016 Oriole Way Award on Tuesday, September 20, during an on-field ceremony prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Boston Red Sox.

MARYLAND FOOD BANK CHECK PRESENTATION
In a pregame ceremony on Tuesday, September 20, the Orioles and United Concordia will present checks to the Maryland Food Bank in support of the 30th annual OriolesREACH Food & Funds Drive that took place in June. In support of the Food & Funds Drive, Orioles fans contributed more than $27,000 and nearly 3,000 pounds of food for Maryland families. United Concordia will also present a check for $10,000 to the Maryland Food Bank. These monetary donations will support the Maryland Food Bank's Pack to Give Back event, a state-wide initiative focused on providing meals to families in need for the holidays.
DEPUTY COMPTROLLER SHARONNE BONARDI TO THROW OUT THE CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCH
Prior to the 7:05 p.m. game on Tuesday, September 20, Deputy Comptroller SHARONNE R. BONARDI ESQ. will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Bonardi is the first African-American in the 164-year history to serve as the Deputy Comptroller to the Comptroller of Maryland and the second woman to hold the position with the tax collection agency. She has been with the comptroller's office for more than 12 years and previously sat as an administrative law judge. Bonardi is active in the Tax Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, serves on the boards of the Girls Empowerment Mission, Jack and Jill of America, Maryland State Employees Credit Union (SECU), and is a member of the prestigious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and The Links Incorporated. Due to her years of community service and through mentoring, she was named one of the Daily Record's Maryland's Top 100 Women in 2016.

UMMS SAVES FOR SHOCK TRAUMA CHECK PRESENTATION
On Wednesday, September 21, during a pregame ceremony, as part of "Saves for Shock Trauma" Program, FRANCIS X. (FRANK) KELLY, Chief Executive Officer of KELLY Benefits, Payroll & Technology, will present a check to KAREN DOYLE, Vice President of Nursing and Operations at the R Adam Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Every Orioles season, KELLY, a leader in comprehensive benefits, payroll, and workforce management solutions, contributes $1,000 for every save that is recorded by an Orioles pitcher. With the support of KELLY and the "Saves for Shock Trauma" Program, The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center will receive a check for more than $50,000 to help save more lives in the Baltimore community. Since 1996, KELLY has contributed more than $1.2 Million to The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center through the "Saves for Shock Trauma" Program.

ZACH BRITTON TO VISIT JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL
In honor of pediatric cancer awareness month, Orioles pitcher ZACH BRITTON will visit the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center Division of Pediatric Oncology to spend time with children battling cancer on Thursday, September 22. This event will not be open to media. Britton has made several visits to Johns Hopkins over the last two years to spend time with children battling cancer. He has purchased caps, T-shirts, and other Orioles items for the children. Additionally, he has helped raise money for Johns Hopkins Pediatric Oncology. September is pediatric cancer awareness month, and the Orioles and Major League Baseball have dedicated the month to raising awareness for pediatric cancer. Every year, an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide.
CAREFIRST CHECK PRESENTATION
For each time an Orioles batter earned a walk this season, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield made a $50 donation to B'more for Healthy Babies. On September 22, during a pregame ceremony, MERYL BURGIN of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield will present a check for $30,000 to DR. LEANA WEN of the Baltimore City Health Department, OLIVIA FARROW of the Baltimore City Health Department, JONATHON RONDEAU of the Family League of Baltimore, and TRACI KODECK of Healthcare Access Maryland to support B'more for Healthy Babies. As of September 14, 2016, the Orioles have drawn a total of 420 walks with CHRIS DAVIS leading with 80 walks. CareFirst will continue to donate $50 per walk for the rest of the season to benefit B'more for Healthy Babies. This total contribution includes the $21,000 earned in Orioles walks in 2016 and an addition contribution by CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to increase the proceeds to $30,000.

A Maryland Flag Orioles Cap, presented by DAP, will be given out to all fans during the final home game of the 2016 season on September 25. The black cap features the Maryland flag on the bill and the Cartoon Orioles bird.
