White Sox celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night at U.S. Cellular Field

The Chicago White Sox celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at U.S. Cellular Field on Friday, September 30, with Hispanic Heritage Night and Fireworks, presented by Miller Lite.

The Chicago White Sox celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at U.S. Cellular Field on Friday, September 30, with Hispanic Heritage Night and Fireworks, presented by Miller Lite. 
Fans are invited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an array of special in-park entertainment and activities on Friday, including an on-field tribute to legendary singer/songwriter Juan Gabriel performed by Mariachi Monumental de México, a Gate 4 performance by Los Perros Cubanos, a ceremonial first pitch by Cuban-American actress Natalie Martinez and post-game fireworks set to Latin music.
Hispanic Heritage Night items will include Los White Sox soccer jersey giveaways from a Twitter vending machine in the #SoxSocial Lounge near Section 154 and a custom Snapchat geofilter. Fans also are encouraged to visit the concession stands at U.S. Cellular Field to taste its traditional Hispanic food offerings, including 35th Street tacos, elotes, Cuban Comet sandwich, build-your-own burritos at the Tex Mex Stand, churros and tater totchos.
Tickets for Hispanic Heritage Night are available as low as $10 at whitesox.com/NHH. The first 1,800 fans who purchase their tickets through this link will be eligible to participate in an on-field parade. Fans can follow along on social media with the hashtag #DáleSox.

Chicago native and actor Antoine McKay will throw a ceremonial first pitch on Wednesday, September 28. McKay plays "Bunkie" on the FOX TV drama "Empire." McKay began his professional acting career at the Second City's Main Stages in Detroit and Chicago, where he wrote and performed in over 20 critically acclaimed shows. He also has appeared in feature films and well-known television series, including "ER" and "Prison Break."
Cuban-American actress Natalie Martinez will throw a ceremonial first pitch in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Night on Friday, September 30. Martinez has starred in the DirecTV drama "Kingdom" and the critically acclaimed "End of Watch." She also was the spokesmodel for Jennifer Lopez's clothing line and starred in a Pitbull and Marc Anthony music video.
White Sox 2017 Fan of the Year Award winner Laura Williams will be honored in a pregame ceremony as part of Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, October 2. Earlier this season, the White Sox surprised Williams with season tickets in celebration of her 600th consecutive Sox home game. The moment was captured by the White Sox and is featured online at whitesox.com/SoxStories.
Theme Nights and Promotions
The Chicago Sports Depot will hold its annual tent sale this week. Fans can visit the tent near Gate 5 to purchase discounted White Sox merchandise and apparel beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 29.
The K Zone For Sale is scheduled to return on Tuesday, September 27 (subject to change). When Sox ace Chris Sale starts, fans with tickets in Sections 154-156 receive a "K Zone For Sale" T-shirt and strikeout card, which can be picked up at the #SoxSocial Lounge before the end of the first inning. "K Zone For Sale" tickets are available for $20 at whitesox.com/KZone. Please note that the pitching rotation is subject to change.
The White Sox will celebrate Rock 'N' Roll Night, presented by Guaranteed Rate, on Saturday, October 1. This theme night will feature various activities throughout the night, including pre-game performances by three local rock bands, a National Anthem performance by Chicago Blackhawks anthemist Jim Cornelison and appearances from several White Sox ambassadors and local mascots. The White Sox will celebrate the continued support from fans during Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, October 2. Fans will be able to take home special giveaways, including various items from the Twitter vending machine in the #SoxSocial Lounge near Section 154 and lucky row prizes. Fans also are encouraged to tweet their seat location for the chance to win autographed memorabilia. These activities will be accompanied by the kid-friendly activities offered on Coca-Cola Family Sunday, including children's running the bases postgame (weather permitting), face painters, balloonists and a caricature artist. Tickets are available as low as $5 in the Upper Level and $15 in the Lower Level with $10 parking. Kids ages 10 and under eat free off the kids menu at ChiSox Bar & Grill on Family Sundays. Giveaways
The first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark on Thursday, September 29, will receive a White Sox Performance T-Shirt.
In conjunction with Rock 'N' Roll Night, the first 5,000 fans who enter the ballpark on Saturday, October 1, will receive a Rock 'N' Roll Night cap, presented by Guaranteed Rate.
On Sunday, October 2, all fans will receive a White Sox 2017 schedule cling as they enter the ballpark. Each fan also will receive a ticket voucher for select 2017 April or May games as they exit the ballpark.
