The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced the team's 2017 Spring Training schedule and ticket pricing for games at McKechnie Field in Bradenton, Florida, the Club's southern home since 1969. The 32-game Florida schedule consists of 18 home games, which includes a World Baseball Classic exhibition game against the Dominican Republic on Wednesday, March 8.
The Pirates are scheduled to open their 2017 Grapefruit League season with two games on Saturday, February 25; they will host the Baltimore Orioles at 1:05 p.m. and will also play the Rays in Port Charlotte at 1:05 p.m.
A total of five of Pittsburgh's final six Grapefruit League games are scheduled to be played in Bradenton, which will include back-to-back night games on Monday, March 27 against the Minnesota Twins and Tuesday, March 28 against the Boston Red Sox (both 6:05 p.m. starts).
Prior to the regular season opener against the Red Sox in Boston on April 3, the Pirates are scheduled to play two games against the Toronto Blue Jays at Olympic Stadium in Montreal on Friday, March 31 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, April 1 at 1:05 p.m.
The Pirates drew a total of 103,762 fans to 15 spring training home dates at McKechnie Field in 2016, the second-highest season attendance figure behind the club-record 106,038 posted in 2015.

Pirates Spring Training Season Tickets, which go on sale Monday, November 28, remain one of the best values in the Grapefruit League. Season ticket pricing is as follows:

Also available for unique season ticket packages are the 4Topps tables located on the McKechnie Field Boardwalk.Ticket packages for the area are $3,200 for four seats and include $900 in Bucs Bucks, to be used on ballpark concessions, per table. Each table also includes a company logo, if applicable, at no additional cost.

Current season ticket members will be receiving their renewal information beginning on November 15, and will have until Friday, January 13, 2017 to renew their same seats for the 2017 season.
Weekend Package
The Pirates will offer a five-game Weekend Package during Spring Training which will also go on sale Monday, November 28.The package includes tickets to all five weekend games. Opponents in the package include the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers.

Current Weekend Package Holders will be able to renew their packages beginning on November 15, and will have until Friday, January 13, 2017 to renew their same seats for the 2017 season.
Group Tickets
New group ticket reservations can be made starting Monday, November 28 and returning group ticket accounts from 2016 are able to purchase in advance, beginning on Tuesday, November 15.Groups of 15 or more are able to reserve tickets in preferred seating areas before they go on sale to individual buyers for the best opportunity to secure seats together.Other group benefits include personalized service from a team representative, in-game welcome announcement over the PA system, and the ability to earn special in-park experiences.
Bradenton Marauders
Pirates Spring Training season ticket members will receive a complimentary ticket to the Bradenton Marauders opening night game on Saturday, April 8 against the Charlotte Stone Crabs.The Marauders, the Pirates' Florida State League affiliate, play a 70-game home schedule at McKechnie Field.
"Early Bird" Pre-Sale Opportunity
Prior to the individual ticket on-sale, fans will have the opportunity to take part in an online-only "Early Bird" pre-sale from January 18-19.The "Early Bird" pre-sale will give fans the opportunity to purchase single game tickets before they go on sale to the general public. "Early Bird" pricing is different than regular single game pricing and is an alternative purchase opportunity for fans who want to be guaranteed access to the best seats to high-demand games.Prior to the "Early Bird" pre-sale, a separate pre-sale will take place for Pirates' season ticket members from January 16 and 17 at regular individual game prices.
