Cody Anderson undergoes arthroscopic surgery on elbow

RHP CODY ANDERSON was seen at the end of the season relative to recurrent posterior right elbow discomfort. Cody was diagnosed with impingement in the back of the elbow joint.

RHP CODY ANDERSON was seen at the end of the season relative to recurrent posterior right elbow discomfort. Cody was diagnosed with impingement in the back of the elbow joint.
 
Anderson, 26, was seen yesterday at TMI Sports Medicine in Dallas, Texas for an additional opinion from Dr. Keith Meister, who confirmed the diagnosis.  
 
Cody subsequently underwent an arthroscopic debridement of the elbow yesterday in Dallas, which was performed by Dr. Meister. He will initiate a throwing program in approximately 8 weeks (early January) and is expected to be ready for the start of the 2017 regular season.
