Braves announce 2017 Spring Training schedule

The Atlanta Braves today announced their 2017 spring training schedule. The 33-game slate begins on Saturday, February 25, with a home contest against the Toronto Blue Jays at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Braves conclude their spring training slate against the New York Yankees on March 31 in the inaugural game at SunTrust Park in Atlanta.

The Atlanta Braves today announced their 2017 spring training schedule. The 33-game slate begins on Saturday, February 25, with a home contest against the Toronto Blue Jays at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Braves conclude their spring training slate against the New York Yankees on March 31 in the inaugural game at SunTrust Park in Atlanta.
Braves' pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to camp on Tuesday, February 14, with their first workout set for the following day. Atlanta's position players are scheduled to report on Friday, February 17, with the first full-squad workout slated for February 18. This spring marks the 20th year that the Braves will train at the Wide World of Sports Complex.
Atlanta will play a total of 18 home games against 11 different teams at Champion Stadium, including four games versus the Detroit Tigers, three games against the New York Mets, and two games each against the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins. The Blue Jays, Yankees, Houston Astros, Boston Red Sox, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Baltimore Orioles will make one visit each to Disney.
The Braves are scheduled to play a pair of home night games, both against Detroit. Atlanta is set to host the Tigers on Thursday, March 23, before a second night game on Monday, March 27, with both contests slated for a 6:05 p.m.
The Florida portion of Atlanta's spring training slate will conclude with a trio of home games from March 27-29, before the Braves play host to the New York Yankees on March 31 in the first game at SunTrust Park in Atlanta. First pitch is set for 7:35 p.m., and will be open to all Braves A-List Members only.
Individual spring training game tickets will go on sale Monday, December 12, at the Wide World of Sports box office, through the Atlanta Braves' website (braves.com/springtraining) and through Ticketmaster (800/745-3000). Spring training ticket prices for 2017 range from $15.00 (general admission lawn seats) to $59.00 (lower level reserved seats)
