The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the 2017 Major League roster:
 
Purchased the contracts of INF YANDY DĺAZ and UTL MICHAEL MARTINEZ from Triple-A Columbus.
 
Placed RHP CODY ANDERSON (right elbow surgery) on the 60-day Disabled List.
 
Placed INF JASON KIPNIS (right shoulder inflammation) and OF LONNIE CHISENHALL (right shoulder sprain) on the 10-day Disabled List, retroactive to March 30.
 
Released LHP TIM COONEY.
 
Assigned LHP TYLER OLSON, C ERIK KRATZ, 1B CHRIS COLABELLO and OF DANIEL ROBERTSTON to the Triple-A Columbus roster.
