Tigers Minor Leaguer Voelker suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Detroit Tigers Minor League right-handed pitcher Paul Voelker has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Amphetamine, a stimulant in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Detroit Tigers Minor League right-handed pitcher Paul Voelker has received a 50-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Amphetamine, a stimulant in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
The suspension of Voelker, who is currently on the roster of the Double-A Erie SeaWolves of the Eastern League, is effective immediately.
