Outfielder Kevin Pillar has been selected as the Honda Player of the Month in online fan voting. Kevin along with RHP Marcus Stroman and RHP Marco Estrada, was named a finalist by the Toronto Chapter of the Baseball Writers of America Association (BBWAA). Honda will donate $1,000 to Kevin's charity - Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario.
In April, Pillar posted a batting average of .301(31-103) with seven doubles, one triple, four home runs and eight RBI. The 28 year old center fielder let the team in hits with 31 which was 4th highest in the American League.
