The San Francisco Giants have signed 27 players from the 2017 First-Year Player Draft. SF has come to terms with 14 of their first 16 selections overall from this month's draft.
 
TOP THREE PICKS SIGNED: The Giants have signed nine of their first 10 selections, including their top three picks: CF Heliot Ramos, 3B Jacob González and LHP Seth Corry.
 
LOCAL TIES: San Francisco signed three players that have Northern California connections. The Giants signed their 13th round pick, RHP Tyler Schimpf (Capitol Christian HS in Sacramento, CA), 24th round selection, SS Nico Giarratano (University of San Francisco and St. Ignatius HS in San Francisco, CA) and 27th round pick, RHP Matt Brown (San Jose State and Benicia HS in Benicia, CA).
