Mets select RHP Chasen Bradford from Las Vegas and option Tyler Pill

The New York Mets announced today that they have selected the contract of RHP Chasen Bradford from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and optioned RHP Tyler Pill to Las Vegas. Bradford will wear #46 and is active for tonight's series finale in Los Angeles. To make room on the 40-man roster, LHP Tommy Milone has been transferred to the 60-Day Disabled List.

FLUSHING, N.Y., June 22, 2017 - The New York Mets announced today that they have selected the contract of RHP Chasen Bradford from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and optioned RHP Tyler Pill to Las Vegas. Bradford will wear #46 and is active for tonight's series finale in Los Angeles. To make room on the 40-man roster, LHP Tommy Milone has been transferred to the 60-Day Disabled List.
Bradford, 27, was 1-1 with a 4.26 ERA (15 earned runs/31.2 innings) in 29 relief appearances this season for the 51s. He has never appeared in the major leagues.
The Las Vegas native has spent each of the last two seasons with the 51s and pitched to a 5-3 record with a 4.80 ERA (35 earned runs/65.2 innings) in 56 games for Las Vegas in 2016.
In 303 career minor league games, all relief appearances, Bradford is 28-20 with a 3.49 ERA (150 earned runs/387.0 innings pitched) and 45 saves. Bradford was originally selected by the Mets in the 35th round of the 2011 First-Year Player Draft from the University of Central Florida.
