The Cleveland Indians Wives Association will host its annual "Shirts Off the Players' Backs" auction on Friday, July 7 as the Indians take on the Detroit Tigers in the series opener at Progressive Field.
Fans will be able to bid on jerseys worn during Wednesday night's game against the San Diego Padres by Tribe stars such as Francisco Lindor, Edwin Encarnacion, Jose Ramirez and more. Jerseys will be autographed and authenticated.
The auction will take place outside of Section 156 from the time gates open through the seventh inning and benefit Cleveland Indians Charities. This marks the second fundraising event by the Wives Association this season, as they also hosted an auction for group baskets, signed artwork and mystery balls last month on June 23. The Indians Wives Association annually raises tens of thousands of dollars for Cleveland Indians Charities through fundraisers at Progressive Field.
