Twins option Felix Jorge to Double-A Chattanooga

The Minnesota Twins announced that they have optioned right-handed pitcher Felix Jorge to Double-A Chattanooga.

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced tonight that they have optioned right-handed pitcher Felix Jorge to Double-A Chattanooga. Jorge made two starts for the Twins going 1-0 with a 10.57 ERA (7.2 IP, 9 ER).
To replace Jorge on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled outfielder Zack Granite from Triple-A Rochester. Granite, who was recently named International League Player of the Month for June, is hitting .360 (85-for-236) with 14 doubles, four triples, three home runs, 24 RBI, 40 runs scored and 15 stolen bases in 59 games this season for Triple-A Rochester. 
The 24-year-old was named 2016 Sherry Robertson Award winner as Twins minor league Player of the Year after being named a Southern League All-Star and leading the League in stolen bases with 56. He was selected by the Twins in the 14th round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft out of Seton Hall University.
Granite will be in uniform for tomorrow afternoon's game against Baltimore and will wear uniform number 8.
