Rangers to Host Korean Heritage Night

The Texas Rangers will celebrate Korean Heritage Night tomorrow, Friday, July 28, when the team hosts the Baltimore Orioles at Globe Life Park.

The Texas Rangers will celebrate Korean Heritage Night tomorrow, Friday, July 28, when the team hosts the Baltimore Orioles at Globe Life Park.
Special pre-game ceremonies will include the performance of the Korean National Anthem by Popera singer Yisabel and an on-field gift exchange between Texas Rangers player Shin-Soo Choo and Executive Director of the Korea Tourism Organization Sang Hoon Na.
The event will also include a pre-game autograph signing with Choo. And for one night only, exclusive Shin-Soo Choo caps will be available for purchase, with proceeds from a $10 cash donation going to the Shin-Soo Choo Foundation to benefit local scholarships for Korean Students.
Taekwondo performances, a video from the Korea Tourism Department and Korean Consul, and a presentation of the United States and Korean flags are also planned for the evening. And mascots for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic winter games will make a pre-game appearance.
