MLB PLAYERS WEEKEND: D-backs players and coaches will wear their nickname on the back of colorful, non-traditional uniforms featuring alternate designs inspired by youth league uniforms. Additionally, during Players Weekend, the right sleeve of each player's jersey will feature a patch with a blank space for him to write the name of a person or organization that was instrumental to his development. The patch features a new logo that shows a progression of five players increasing in size to demonstrate the process of a player's path from Little League and youth leagues to Major League Baseball. Players Weekend is a newly created event that will take place during all MLB games Aug. 25-27. Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off at MLB.com/auctions with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation.
FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT: D-backs fans can enjoy a post-game concert by Newsboys along with discounted tickets, testimonials from D-backs players Paul Goldschmidt and Robbie Ray, VIP Field Pass opportunities, and more. HEART AND HUSTLE AWARD: D-backs' Manager Torey Lovullo and First Base Coach Dave McKay will present Paul Goldschmidt with the 2017 Heart & Hustle Award before the game. The award is given to a member from each MLB club that demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and best embodies the values, spirit and traditions of the game. One overall winner from the 30 teams will be selected by a panel of former MLB players and honored in November.
MAYOR OF CULIACÁN CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCH: Jesús Valdés, Mayor of Culiacán, Mexico will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
MOST VALUABLE TEACHER: The D-backs will recognize this month's Most Valuable Teachers during a special pregame recognition. BROPHY COACH TOM SUCCOW FIRST PITCH: Brophy College Prep alumni, staff, students, friends, & families will support Coach Tom Succow to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS: The D-backs will host the 20th annual Domestic Violence Awareness game in collaboration with the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual & Domestic Violence (ACESDV). JEWISH COMMUNITY PACK: The D-backs will host Jewish Community Day that includes a pregame recognition on the field for members of the Jewish Community. CAPTAIN KIRBY WISGERHOF CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCH: The D-backs will recognize and thank former Phoenix Fire Department Captain Kirby Wisgerhof for his 30 years of service. Wisgerhof will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
SUNSHINE ACRES CHECK PRESENTATION: The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will present a $25,000 donation to Sunshine Acres Children's Home. Sunshine Acres provides a home for children who are separated from their parents and help them establish long-term relationships with stable parental figures, preparing them for success in adult life.

KIDS RUN THE BASES FOR PCH: Kids ages 15 and younger are invited to run the bases after the game and can line up on the ramp near section 110 immediately following the game. The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will donate $1 to Phoenix Children's Hospital for every kid that crosses home plate.

PLAY BALL FUND: As a part of the on-going D-backs Give Back charitable efforts, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation will recognize Play Ball grant recipients during a special pregame ceremony on the field. Throughout the season, the Play Ball Fund, supported by Chase and Western Refining, will award teams, leagues and organizations $1,000 in grants for equipment, training resources and more. U OF A NIGHT: The D-backs will host University of Arizona Night that will feature several Wildcat-themed elements throughout the night, including ceremonial first pitch by Wildcat President Dr. Robert Robbins, and color guard by University of Arizona Air Force ROTC Honor Guard. Wilma will also be featured throughout the night. PLAY BALL SUMMER EVENT WITH VALLEY MAYORS: The D-backs will host Mayor Giles from Mesa, Mayor Mitchell from Tempe and Mayor Stanton from Phoenix, along with eight youth from each community, at Chase Field. Major League Baseball, Minor League Baseball and the United States Conference of Mayors have teamed up for "PLAY BALL SUMMER." PLAY BALL SUMMER is an effort by more than 200 Mayors from the United States and Puerto Rico to host "PLAY BALL"-themed, youth-focused events in their communities from June through August. The Mayors will play catch with kids on the field prior to the game.
CANCER TREATMENT CENTERS OF AMERICA: The D-backs will host breast cancer survivor and CTCA patient Jodi Klemm for a special game experience and ceremonial first pitch.
PAINTING AT THE PARK: Fans are able to purchase a special package that includes a private paint session, hosted by Paint, Party & Wine, game ticket in the PetSmart Patio, a D-backs Sedona Red wine tasting and all-you-can-eat food. Fans will learn how to paint baseball-themed artwork.

THROWBACK THURSDAY, presented by Chase: The D-backs will wear the Alternate Home Vest Uniform (worn from 1998-2006). Every Thursday home game will be deemed part of the D-backs Throwback Thursdays (#DbacksTBT), presented by Chase, and fans can expect to see the retro purple and teal colors incorporated in every game element at Chase Field, including signage, video and photos on dbTV. DIDIER DROGBA CEREMONIAL FIRST PITCH & JERSEY EXCHANGE: Former Chelsea and Ivory Coast football player and current striker for the Phoenix Rising Football Club Didier Drogba will "kick" out the ceremonial first pitch. D-BACKS SCHOOL CHALLENGE presented by UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX: The D-backs and University of Phoenix are giving away $100,000 to benefit schools across Arizona. Twenty schools will be selected and will receive $5,000 to help improve their school. The deadline to apply is Sept. 29. Schools can apply for the grant online at www.dbacks.com/schoolchallenge.
D-BACKS AUTHENTICS: The D-backs sell game-used and authenticated merchandise ranging from game-used bases, jerseys, bats, balls and lineup cards to autographed merchandise. D-BACKS BASEBALL ACADEMY YOUTH CLINICS: D-backs Baseball Academy coaches will host two free clinics for kids at Futures Field located in the Phoenix Children's Hospital Sandlot at each D-backs home game starting one hour before first pitch and at the end of the fourth inning.

D-BACKS LICENSE PLATES: fans will have the opportunity to purchase the official D-backs license plate during each D-backs Saturday home game.
