The New York Yankees announced that tonight's game between the Yankees and Cleveland Indians at Yankee Stadium has been postponed due to the continued forecast of inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled as the second game of a single-admission doubleheader to be played tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30.
ONLY TICKETS DATED WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 30, WILL BE VALID FOR THE DOUBLEHEADER.
TICKETS FOR TONIGHT'S ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED GAME (DATED TUESDAY, AUGUST 29) WILL NOT BE VALID FOR TOMORROW'S DOUBLEHEADER.
The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 1:05 p.m. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first game. All Yankee Stadium gates will open to fans with valid tickets at 11:30 a.m.
YES will broadcast both games of the doubleheader.
Fans holding paid tickets for tonight's game may exchange their paid tickets for any regular season game at Yankee Stadium through the end of the 2018 season (subject to availability). Exchanges may be made at Yankee Stadium ticket windows beginning on Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Tonight's "Cap Night presented by Cooper Tires" will be rescheduled for a date yet to be determined.
Complimentary (COMP) tickets for tonight's game are not valid for any future games. COMP tickets or equivalent tickets bear no cash value and do not have any additional benefits that may be offered to ticket(s) with a dollar value.
