The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Park on Friday for a seven-game homestand featuring the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners.

The weekend series against the Yankees opens Friday, September 8, with a 7:05 p.m. matchup and continues with matinee contests Saturday, September 9, at 12:05 p.m. and Sunday, September 10, at 2:05 p.m.

A pre-game ceremony Friday will honor third baseman Adrian Beltre for reaching the prestigious 3,000 hit milestone. And the first 40,000 fans that day will receive an Adrian Beltre 3,000 Hit Commemorative Baseball Card.

Limited edition Adrian Beltre 3K caps are available through a special ticket offer for Friday and Saturday's games. Fans who purchase their tickets for either game via www.texasrangers.com/beltre3k will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for the hat. Cap distribution will take place both days on the third base concourse from the time gates open until the conclusion of the 3rd inning.

For fans who have already purchased tickets, 500 caps will be available at the Texas Rangers Foundation kiosk (3rd base concourse by section 14) for a $15 donation to the foundation.

Friday is also El Rancho Supermercado Hispanic Heritage Night at Globe Life Park, as festivities will include in-game mariachi performances.

On Saturday, the Texas Rangers and the Baseball Tomorrow Fund will host an equipment drive, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, to benefit those hardest hit by the recent hurricanes. Fans may drop off new and gently used baseball and softball equipment at any Globe Life Park entrance from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Reliever Tony Barnette is serving as the honorary chairman for the initiative.

Donations are already being accepted at the Texas Rangers Majestic Grand Slam Gift Shop at Globe Life Park and the Texas Rangers Team Shop in Fort Worth.

The first 15,000 fans through the gates on Saturday will receive a Rangers On-Deck Circle Mousepad presented by EST Group and Dell EMC.

Then the Yankees series concludes Sunday with another installment of Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday.

Division rival Seattle comes to town for a four-game set Monday, September 11; Tuesday, September 12; Wednesday, September 13; and Thursday, September 14, with 7:05 p.m. tilts each night.

September 11 will be observed with Patriots Day ceremonies including Texas and U.S. flags being unfurled by members of Arlington Police and Fire Departments and a flyover by the Cavanaugh Flight Museum prior to the game.

Wednesday marks another installment of Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Night and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday.

The homestand concludes Thursday, when the first 10,000 fans will receive a Papa John's Texas Rangers TBT Pin, this time commemorating the Hall of Fame Induction of Pudge Rodriguez.
NO MATTER WHERE WE BALL, TEXAS STANDS TALL
T-shirts designed by Rangers Manager Jeff Banister will be available beginning Friday at the Grand Slam Gift Shop. The shirts can also be purchased online at mlb.com/2xEuwp4. Proceeds from the shirts will go through Clear Creek Community Church of League City, TX, in the community where Banister grew up.
