The Miami Marlins today announced their home schedule for the 2018 season. The Marlins will open the 2018 campaign at home on Thursday, March 29 vs. the Chicago Cubs, while Miami's first homestand will run March 29-April 3, with the Cubs (March 29-April 1) and Boston Red Sox (April 2-3) visiting Marlins Park.
Next season, the Marlins will face off against the American League East during Interleague Play, with the Tampa Bay Rays (July 2-4), New York Yankees (August 21-22) and Toronto Blue Jays (August 31-Sept. 2), playing in Miami, in addition to the Red Sox.
The 2018 home slate will conclude with a six-game homestand vs. the Washington Nationals (Sept. 17-18) and Cincinnati Reds (Sept. 20-23), prior to a six-game road trip to finish the 2018 regular season to Washington (Sept. 24-26) and New York-NL (Sept. 28-30).
