The Orioles return to Baltimore tonight for their final homestand of the regular season featuring a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox and a four-game weekend series against the Tampa Bay Rays. The homestand will be highlighted by Fan Appreciation Weekend and a ceremony recognizing the 2017 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship team from the University of Maryland, as well as both the season's final Friday Fireworks Night and final Kids Run the Bases presented by Weis Markets on Sunday for children ages 4-14. There will also be three unique giveaway items including an Orioles knit cap, Orioles hooded sweatshirt, and an Oriole Bird bobblehead toothbrush holder. Students can enjoy a special discount on Friday night and the club will also host nearly 500 children as part of the OriolesREACH Gameday Experience Program during the homestand.
Fan Appreciation Weekend will begin on Friday, September 22, and continue through Sunday, September 24, when the Orioles host the Rays for the final home series of the 2017 regular season. The weekend will feature special giveaways, Fireworks Night, and many unique opportunities for fans to have unforgettable experiences at Oriole Park, including a chance to take the field with Orioles players during the national anthem, a "Shirts Off Our Backs" jersey exchange with fans presented by Snapple, an opportunity to interact with Orioles players at various spots around the ballpark, and much more. · SEPTEMBER 22 - CHIEF HERMAN WILLIAMS, JR.; for dedicating his life to serving, protecting, and empowering Baltimore residents and their communities. For nearly 50 years, Chief Williams proudly served in the city's fire department, becoming Baltimore City's first African American fire chief in 1992. In his current role as Chairman of the Board for MECU, and through his work with the MECU Foundation and Living Classrooms, Chief Williams has helped to strengthen communities and inspire young people to achieve their full potential, awarding dozens of college scholarships to local youth both through his personal and nonprofit endeavors. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Baltimore City Fire Department's Meritorious Citation, Firefighter of the Year Award, and several Mayor's and Governor's citations.
· SEPTEMBER 23 - ASYA BUSSIE; for her commitment to building a better Baltimore. Bussie, a former WNBA player, started the nonprofit Be More Inc. to help Baltimore's youth. The organization's leadership team and volunteers have created various initiatives to achieve their mission, including adopting a road that they clean four times a year, hosting basketball clinics, and providing food, clothing, and school supplies to people in need.
· SEPTEMBER 24 - SANDE RIESETT; for her ongoing efforts to end animal abuse. In 2011, Riesett launched the "Show Your Soft Side" campaign, which features celebrities and athletes with their pets, in an effort to teach kids that compassion is a strength, not a weakness. Over the past six years, Soft Side has partnered with over 150 celebrities nationwide, including MANNY MACHADO and BUCK SHOWALTER, appearing in schools across the country and raising over half a million dollars for the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS) through its annual Pawject Runway event.
Through the Orioles' Great Americana Music Weekends, the club will also continue the tradition of celebrating American principles and ideals with live performances of classic, American songs during the seventh-inning stretch featuring "This Land Is Your Land" on Fridays, "America, The Beautiful" on Saturdays, and "God Bless America" on Sundays.

ORIOLES ALUMNI AUTOGRAPH SERIES
Every Monday and Thursday home game, former Orioles players will sign autographs on Eutaw Street as part of the Orioles Alumni Autograph Series. On September 18, former Orioles CALVIN MADURO, TIPPY MARTINEZ, and SCOTT McGREGOR will sign autographs from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the autograph location will take place on the Lower Level Concourse near the Fan Assistance Center behind home plate. 
PET+E.R. PREGAME CHECK PRESENTATION TO BARCS
On Monday, representatives from Pet+E.R. will present the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), with a check for $8,000. Pet+E.R. Director of Marketing and Outreach, ADRIANE WATSON, and Medical Director, DR. TANYA TAG, will present the check to BARCS Executive Director JENNIFER BRAUSE to support BARCS and their ongoing work to help homeless and abused animals in Baltimore. Over the past eight years, the Orioles have helped to raise more than $256,000 for BARCS, including nearly $77,000 through Orioles Pet Calendar sales of the 2016-17 edition. The largest companion animal shelter in Maryland, BARCS takes in more than 11,000 dogs and cats in the shelter, and an additional 2,000 animals in foster care annually.

SUMMER SLUGGER PROGRAM
Members of the Orioles On Deck Employee Volunteer Program presented by Bank of America and The Oriole Bird will be visiting Calvin M. Rodwell Elementary School (3501 Hillsdale Rd., Baltimore, Md. 21207) on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The staff will spend the afternoon with fourth and fifth grade students who participated in this year's Orioles Summer Slugger program, an online baseball-themed education curriculum. Employees will engage with students as they play Summer Slugger, and learn about how the program has helped the children sharpen their math and literacy skills. During the visit, students will complete an 'Orioles History' worksheet, with math and literacy questions which help to teach Orioles history to the students. Orioles staff members will also participate in a career-focused Q&A session with the students, explaining how math and reading are used extensively both on and off the baseball field. At the conclusion of the event, the Orioles will surprise the students with tickets to an upcoming regular season home game.
UMMS SAVES FOR SHOCK TRAUMA CHECK PRESENTATION
On Tuesday, September 19, during a pregame ceremony, as part of the "Saves for Shock Trauma" Program, representatives from KELLY, DAVID KELLY, JR., EYASU KELLY, and GIBBY KELLY will present a check to DR. RONALD TESORIERO, Associate Program Director, Surgical Critical Care & Acute Care Surgery at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Each Orioles season, KELLY, contributes $1,000 for every save that is recorded by an Orioles pitcher. With the support of KELLY and the "Saves for Shock Trauma" Program, The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center will receive a check for more than $40,000 to help save more lives in the Baltimore community. Since 1996, KELLY has contributed more than $1.3 Million to The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center through the "Saves for Shock Trauma" Program.

ORIOLES TO RECOGNIZE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND MEN'S LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM
Prior to Wednesday's game, the 2017 NCAA Champion University of Maryland Men's Lacrosse team will be honored in a pregame ceremony. The team, led by head coach JOHN TILLMAN, defeated The Ohio State University 9-6 in the National Championship game in Foxborough, Mass. in May, for their third men's title in school history, the first since 1975. The Terps finished 16-3 overall and had the No. 1 RPI (rating percentage index) and No. 1 overall strength of schedule. Tillman was also named Big Ten Coach of the Year. The 2017 University of Maryland Women's Lacrosse team also took home the NCAA Division 1 Championship trophy and were recognized during a pregame ceremony at Oriole Park in June.
2017 ADAM JONES O'MAZING ORIOLES RBI PLAYER AWARDS
Modeled after the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association's Heart & Hustle Award, the "Adam Jones O'mazing Orioles RBI Player Award" was developed this year to recognize an active Orioles RBI player who demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and softball, dedication to community service, and commitment to academics. Prior to Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, Jones will present his namesake award to BRANDON CHMIELEWSKI (10-12 baseball division), NEVIN BRANHAM (13-15 baseball division), JUAN LYLES, JR. (16-18 baseball division), JAIDYN HUMPHREYS (10-14 softball division), and MORGAN WHITE (14-18 softball division). All Orioles RBI players who participated in the 2017 season had the opportunity to apply for the award by answering essay questions and including a letter of recommendation from a coach, teacher, or mentor. Winners were chosen by Orioles RBI Staff. Each winner will receive two complimentary tickets to a catered suite for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
COUNTRY ARTIST JENAE CHERRY BRACH TO SING NATIONAL ANTHEM
Prior to Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, JENAE CHERRY BRACH, country music singer, songwriter, and wife of Orioles pitcher BRAD BRACH, will sing the national anthem. Cherry Brach released her seven song EP titled "Around" in 2015, and her four-song EP "Spinning" in 2016. Last season, Cherry Brach debuted an original, Orioles-inspired song entitled "Don't Miss the Magic," at Oriole Park. Through the Orioles Charitable Foundation, the Orioles made a donation to Shannon's Fund for each stream or download of the song, raising more than $65,000. Shannon's Fund is an endowment at the University of Maryland Medical Center that was established by the Orioles and OriolesREACH in 2008 in memory of SHANNON OBAKER, the club's former Director of Community Outreach. Obaker bravely fought cancer for a year before she passed away in 2007 at the age of 29. Shannon's Fund provides financial support to hospital patients and their families to assist with many expenses associated with the treatment process. In addition to her support of Shannon's Fund, Cherry Brach has been an active participant in the charitable and community work of the Orioles Wives, supporting the annual Food & Funds Drive, among other important initiatives.

DARREN O'DAY TO BE PRESENTED WITH THE ORIOLE WAY AWARD
The Oriole Advocates will honor Orioles pitcher DARREN O'DAY, the winner of the 2017 Oriole Way Award during an on-field ceremony prior to Thursday's game against the Rays. The Oriole Advocates, along with the support of the Baltimore Orioles, created the Oriole Way Award to recognize an Orioles player who has made significant contributions both on and off the field and who has demonstrated a sincere desire to serve the community. The award is presented annually to an Orioles player whose participation in the community also embraces the Oriole Advocates' mission of promoting and stimulating interest in baseball. This season, O'Day supported many organizations and nonprofits including Luke's Wings, the USO Metropolitan Washington - Baltimore, and Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), and actively participated in the Orioles Military Sunday Suite program.

"SHIRTS OFF OUR BACKS" JERSEY CEREMONY, PRESENTED BY SNAPPLE
In celebration of Fan Appreciation Weekend, Orioles players will participate in a pregame "Shirts Off Our Backs" Jersey Ceremony presented by Snapple, where 15 Orioles will take the field pregame and give their jersey to pre-selected fans. Fans will return the jersey to each player for the game, but will receive it back autographed by the respective player once the season concludes.
MANNY MACHADO AMERICAN LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE MONTH CEREMONY
Prior to Monday's game, Orioles Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations DAN DUQUETTE will present third baseman MANNY MACHADO with his American League Player of the Month Award for August. In 29 games in August, Machado batted .341 (43-for-126) with six doubles, one triple, 12 home runs, 23 runs, 35 RBI, and three stolen bases. Among qualified AL hitters, Machado finished the month first in RBI, tied for first in home runs, fourth in slugging percentage, and fifth in batting average. Over the course of the month, he logged at least one hit in 22 of 29 games, and posted multi-hit games in 14 contests. On August 18^th, he slugged three home runs, with the final home run of the night a walk-off grand slam. He ended the night 3-for-5, with three runs, three home runs, and seven RBI. From August 6-18, he batted .370 (20-for-54) with four doubles, one triple, seven home runs (three grand slams) 12 runs, and 25 RBI, becoming the first Oriole in franchise history (since 1954), and the 10^th player in Major League history to record three grand slams in a calendar month. This is the second time Machado has won a Player of the Month Award (April, 2016).
CAREFIRST CHECK PRESENTATION TO B'MORE FOR HEALTHY BABIES
For every Orioles batter walked this season, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield made a $50 donation to B'More for Healthy Babies. CareFirst's BILL STACK and WANDA MOORE will present the check in a pregame ceremony to DAVIS McSHEA from The American Diabetes Association in Maryland. To complement the more than $18,000 raised this season, CareFirst will increase the total contribution to $50,000.
STUDENT NIGHT
Friday nights are Student Nights at Oriole Park. Any student with a valid ID may purchase a Left Field Upper Reserve ticket for only $7 at every Friday home game during the 2017 regular season. Tickets must be purchased at the Box Office ticket windows at Oriole Park in advance or on the day of the game, subject to availability.
FIREWORKS NIGHT
On Friday, September 22, the Orioles will host Friday Fireworks Night, set to music previously selected by fans on social media. Fireworks will be set off approximately 10 minutes following the conclusion of the game. This is the final Friday Fireworks Night of the season.

RBI SCHOLARSHIP WINNER TO THROW CEREMONIAL FIRST PTICH
Each season, Major League Baseball awards "RBI for RBI" Scholarships to up to 12 RBI student-athletes who demonstrate academic achievement and leadership skills and who plan to attend an accredited two-year to four-year college, university, vocational, or technical school. This year, TIARRA BASNIGHT-BANKS, a Baltimore Orioles RBI member, has been awarded the prestigious "RBI for RBI" scholarship. In recognition of her achievements, Basnight-Banks will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Saturday's game. Basnight-Banks is in her second season in the Baltimore Orioles RBI League, playing outfield for the 14-18 Orioles RBI Softball Division Champion Edreco Eagles. She carried a 4.3-weighted GPA in high school and is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a kinesiotherpaist at Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Va. During her time in high school, Basnight-Banks served on the board of her school's Student Government Association and was a loyal volunteer with the American Cancer Society. She is the third "RBI for RBI" scholarship recipient from the Orioles RBI program since 2016.
ORIOLES MINOR LEAGUE AWARDS CEREMONY
On Saturday, September 23, the Orioles will recognize the 2017 Minor League Award winners during an on-field ceremony prior to the game against the Rays. Orioles Director of Minor League Operations KENT QUALLS and Director of Scouting GARY RAJSICH will present the awards to the winning players and staff members. Award winners will be available to the media on Saturday at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the Auxiliary clubhouse.

2017 MOST VALUABLE ORIOLE AWARD CEREMONY
On Sunday, September 24, prior to the game against the Rays, the Orioles will honor the 2017 Louis M. Hatter Most Valuable Oriole as selected by local media during an on-field ceremony. Baltimore and Washington chapter of Baseball Writers' Association of America Vice Chairman ED ENCINA will present the award.

The Orioles once again featured the Steal Second Base contest during every Sunday home game this season. Presented by ESSKAY, the Steal Second Base contest challenges a young fan to race from the grounds crew area in center field to retrieve second base and back. Fans can enter the contest at any Fan Assistance Center. The lucky winner will receive four tickets to that day's game, an Orioles/ESSKAY jersey T-shirt and an Orioles cap. The contestants will also get to keep the authentic base that they steal. The participant for Sunday is CHRISTOPHER LONG a 7-year-old from Glen Burnie, Md.
MILITARY APPRECIATION PROGRAM
As part of the Orioles' Military Appreciation Program, the Orioles and OriolesREACH donate a catered, private suite at each Sunday home game to servicemen and women. This Sunday, military members from Marine Corps League Detachment will enjoy the game in a suite, experience a meet-and-greet with DARREN O'DAY and CHRIS TILLMAN, and receive a T-Shirt and cap.
KIDS RUN THE BASES PRESENTED BY WEIS MARKETS
Sundays are family days at the ballpark, when all fans ages 4-14 will be able to participate in a postgame Kids Run the Bases, presented by Weis Markets. This is the last of 13 Sunday home games when kids can round the bases like their favorite Orioles this season.
