Dodgers announce 2012 Cactus League schedule at Camelback Ranch - Glendale

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers will begin their 2012 Cactus League schedule on Monday, March 5 against the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch - Glendale in their fourth year playing at the Arizona facility.

The Dodgers will play a total of 30 Cactus League games this spring, including four against the White Sox at Camelback Ranch, three as the home team and one on March 5 as the visiting team. Los Angeles will play the AL Champion Texas Rangers in Surprise on March 9, host the Chicago Cubs on March 11 and host the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on March 18. On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, the Dodgers will play a split squad with a day game against the Colorado Rockies at Talking Stick and a night game at Camelback Ranch against the San Francisco Giants.

The Dodgers play at Camelback Ranch – Glendale during each of the four Spring Training weekends, providing fans ample opportunity to make the five-hour drive or one-hour flight to the desert. Camelback Ranch features a state-of-the-art ballpark, six practice fields on the Dodgers side, including a replica Dodger Stadium field, walking trails, an orange grove and a two-acre lake.  

The 2012 pricing structure at Camelback Ranch reflects an average decrease of 13 percent over 2011 prices. Single game tickets go on sale on Friday, January 6, with a holiday pre-sale online only from December 9-12.
