Santa, Phillies to Deliver a Wrapped-Up Phanatic; Spread Holiday Cheer to Seniors

WHAT: Guess who's going under the tree at a local non-profit home for low-income seniors?

With the Phillies help, Santa Claus will deliver the ultimate holiday present: a wrapped-up Phillie Phanatic, who will make a surprise entrance and lead off a unique holiday sing along.

  • Joining the Phanatic will be members from the City Year Chorus and Phillies front office, broadcaster Scott Franzke, former players Tommy Greene, Marty Bystrom and Dickie Noles and the Phillies Ballgirls. Phillies Scott Palmer will emcee the festivities.
  • Seniors will also receive Phillies pins and Santa hats.

The appearance is part of the Phillies Holiday Week of Giving, which features daily events to spread holiday cheer, as well as salute community heroes and various organizations that provide valuable services to those in need.
