The Detroit Tigers are giving fans one final opportunity to purchase their favorite Tigers merchandise at a special discounted price at the one-day-only blowout Tigers Holiday Sale this Saturday, December 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The D Shop, located on the corner of Witherell Street and Montcalm Avenue. It will be the final opportunity this year to enjoy up to 60 percent discounts on select Tigers merchandise, collectibles, apparel and novelties.

The Tigers Holiday Sale will feature the new one-of-a-kind Justin Verlander Cy Young/MVP Award T-shirt, available in both youth and adult sizes, to celebrate his memorable 2011 season. Additional items for sale will include jackets, hoodies, jerseys, stickers, bags, T-shirts, players Fatheads and much, much more! Postseason gear is also still available including extra-discounted hats, T-shirts and decals.

In the spirit of the holiday season, children are invited to take their photo with Santa PAWS at no charge from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, fans who bring at least two non-perishable food items to benefit Matrix Human Services, will receive 10% off the total purchase on Saturday only.
