Padres announce dates for 2012 FanFest & Annual Awards Dinner
Both events to be held at Petco Park the second weekend in February
The San Diego Padres today announced Padres FanFest presented by Bloomberg will return to Petco Park on Saturday, February 11, 2012. The daylong event is free and open to the public. Details surrounding FanFest, including an opportunity to pre-register for early entry and exclusive experiences, will be released in early January 2012.
On Friday, February 10, the Padres will host Dinner on the Diamond presented by Porsche, an annual awards dinner benefiting the Padres Foundation. For the first time ever in 2012, the event will take place on the field at Petco Park. Padres players, coaches, broadcasters and members of the leadership team will help kick off the 2012 season and honor the Padres’ 2011 Major League and minor league award winners.
Dinner on the Diamond presented by Porsche will include cocktails on the infield, clubhouse tours and dinner in left center field. Dinner will be followed by dessert and dancing, with entertainment provided by Wayne Foster Entertainment.
