Blue Jays to open Winter Fest on January 20 at Rogers Centre

With 94 days until the team's first Spring Training game, and just ahead of the winter baseball blues, the Toronto Blue Jays today announced it will host its first ever Winter Fest presented by TD, celebrating Blue Jays fans of all ages and the game of baseball.

With 94 days until the team's first Spring Training game, and just ahead of the winter baseball blues, the TORONTO BLUE JAYS today announced it will host its first ever WINTER FESTpresented by TD, celebrating Blue Jays fans of all ages and the game of baseball.
 
Taking place on Saturday, Jan. 20 at Rogers Centre, the brand new, one-day event will offer fans access to their home team like never before, featuring select player, rookie, and alumni appearances, front office and coaching staff, Sportsnet personalities, a Jr. Jays Park, live entertainment, baseball-themed games and activations, ballpark tours, field access, and more. Additional event details will be announced in the coming weeks.
 
Tickets to WINTER FEST are available to the public beginning Monday, Nov. 27, with an exclusive pre-sale for Season Ticket Members on Thursday, Nov. 23 (full pricing below). Fans who purchase tickets will have the opportunity to gain access to player autograph sessions, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed. Each autograph session ticket is $5 with proceeds benefitting Jays Care Foundation.

The BLUE JAYS today also announced it will ring in the New Year with its fans on the west coast when the team visits Vancouver on Friday, Jan. 12 and Saturday, Jan. 13, as part of the eighth annual WINTER TOURpresented by TD.
 
The two-day event will honour the overwhelming support the Blue Jays have witnessed while on the road out west over the last few seasons, with select current players and personnel taking part in various community initiatives and public appearances, including visits to local schools and Ronald McDonald House, an amateur baseball clinic, and a fan autograph session at Vancouver Convention Centre on Saturday, Jan. 13.
 
For a chance to secure tickets to the autograph session, fans will be required to enter into an online lottery at bluejays.com/wintertour. The lottery opens on Monday, Dec. 4 at 8 a.m. PT and closes Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7:59 a.m. PT. Winners will be selected by random draw and notified via email on Thursday, Dec. 7 with a link to purchase the number of tickets requested. Each autograph session ticket is $10 with proceeds benefitting Jays Care Foundation.

Since 2011, WINTER TOURpresented by TD has visited more than 20 Canadian cities across the country, including Edmonton, Regina, Fredericton, Halifax, St. John's, Ottawa, Montreal, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Calgary. This will be the third time the Tour has visited Vancouver (2015, 2011).
