Giants Minor Leaguer Stiner Suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that San Francisco Giants Minor League catcher Drew Stiner has received a 50-game suspension after testing positive for an amphetamine, a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The suspension of Stiner, who is currently on the roster of the Club’s Arizona League affiliate, will be effective at the start of this season.
