Chicago Cubs introduce new Budweiser Patio

New addition to be located in the right field section of the Budweiser Bleachers

CHICAGO The Chicago Cubs have announced the addition of the Budweiser Patio to the right field section of the Budweiser Bleachers for the 2012 season. The Budweiser Patio will include LED signage with the capability to display pertinent game information such as pitch count, player pictures and statistics.

Fans have the opportunity to purchase up to 150 premier group tickets or rent the entire Budweiser Patio during games. The patio can accommodate groups of 50, 100 or 150 guests. Each section of 50 tickets will include both seated and standing room only tickets and an all-inclusive food and beverage package, including popular Budweiser products.

“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Budweiser and offer our fans an exciting new experience in the right field Budweiser Bleacher section at Wrigley Field,” said Wally Hayward, executive vice president, chief sales and marketing officer, Chicago Cubs. “The Budweiser Patio will provide our fans with a rooftop experience inside the ballpark and more baseball content during the game on our new 75-foot LED board.”

“Few fan experiences in baseball rival that of Wrigley Field, and we’re proud that Budweiser is an authentic part of that tradition,” said Rich Gutierrez, group director, local media buying, Anheuser-Busch. “In addition to being a place for Cubs fans to celebrate and experience the enjoyment of a game day on the North Side, the Budweiser Patio will deliver the kind of information today’s stat-crazed fans thirst for.”
