Orioles agree to terms with LHP Dana Eveland and RHPs Jim Johnson and Darren O'Day

Team Exchanges Salary Arbitration Figures with RHPs Jeremy Guthrie and Brad Bergesen, OF Adam Jones and INF Robert Andino

The Orioles today announced that they have agreed to terms with LHP DANA EVELAND and RHPs JIM JOHNSON and DARREN O'DAY on one-year contracts, avoiding arbitration.

Eveland, 28, was 3-2 with a 3.03 ERA (29.IP, 10ER) in five starts for the Dodgers last season after making 25 starts for Triple-A Albuquerque, where he went 12-8 with a 4.38 ERA (154.0IP, 75ER) to begin the season.

Johnson, 28, went 6-5 with nine saves and a 2.67 ERA (91.0IP, 27ER) in 69 games last season, finishing second among AL relievers in innings pitched.

O'Day, 29, was 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA (16.2IP, 10ER) in 16 games for Texas in 2011.  He was also 1-0 with a 2.53 ERA (21.1IP, 6ER), 27 strikeouts and four walks in 18 total games with Double-A Frisco (one game) and Triple-A Round Rock (17 games).

The Orioles have exchanged salary arbitration figures with RHPs JEREMY GUTHRIE and BRAD BERGESEN, OF ADAM JONES and INF ROBERT ANDINO.
