The Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation, a project at the Giving Back Fund, announces that tickets will go on sale Feb. 14, 2018, for the inaugural Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation Charity Softball Game and home run derby. The June 1, 2018, event at Citizens Bank Park features Carson Wentz, quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and his teammates playing softball to help raise funds for the foundation.
Tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018. Tickets will be available online at www.Tickets.com or at the Citizens Bank Park box office. Box office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
Ticket prices range from $5 to $100. Ticket prices do not include tax, online purchase service charge or food. Children age three and over require a ticket for admission. Children age two and under may enter without a ticket and must sit on the lap of an adult.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on June 1. The evening will feature a 6:30 p.m. home run derby and 7:30 p.m. softball game. The event also includes a silent auction with a variety of autographed items and experiences, including an "experience package" to sit in the dugout during an inning. In addition, merchandise from The Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation will be for sale.
Funds raised will benefit the foundation's three initiatives: to support Philadelphia youth by providing service dogs to assist with their development and quality of life; to provide food, shelter and education opportunities to underprivileged youth and to offer hunting and outdoor opportunities for individuals with physical challenges, life threatening illnesses or U.S. vets living in the Midwest.
